I hope this doesn’t bother anyone too much to a point where they get angry, but honestly, imagine babyvaris. My necro, Zethim, was born to be father, ok?
Did this long ago but, but I just wanted to post a little something after being so inactive. Sàdron (the lil kid) belongs to @gw2-mal!
The character in your lovely King video; who is he? What's his background/story? :3
If you’re intrested in what video is being mentioned, you can watch it HERE!
The character featured in the video goes by the name Zethim, and he’s a necromancer sylvari, also my second character to reach level 80 and is one of my mains!
Lots of information about him below, feel free to read it all if you’re intrested!
Zethim is a loving, noble, intelligent and wise person. I’m yet to give him an exact age because I want to stay lorefriendly, but I imagine him being rather old.
He woke up as any other sylvari, curious about the world and what it had to offer, but “matured” faster than the others and found his goal fast. He doesn’t remember his wyld hunt, or if he even had one, but he believes that his purpose is to keep people positive and spread the knowledge he knows.
Although, when Zethim awakened, he was instantly being judged by his looks and choice of proffession. But he passed the negativity and found his joy in science and all it’s corners.
He grew intrested in cultures and other races’ histories, and after traveling around, he discovered Divinity’s Reach felt like home. He earned money by doing good deeds and helping people in need. Years later, he found himself as a Lightbringer in the order of Whispers, also responsible for the member-informations and mission-informations. Eventually had the money to buy a house in the Ossan district fo Divinity’s Reach.
Zethim also has a big intrest for music and art, and has a lot of musical talent. He plays every instrument he can get his hands on, and he makes sure he can play them well.
But Zethim had one dream he knew he never really could achieve, and that being having a family and being a father of a child. He used to collect children’s books, not only because he was intrested in the cultures and their literature, but because he had this dream.
He wasn’t alone though, when he was younger, he befriended another sylvari, Elizan, who later became Zethim’s lover and best friend. Zethim didn’t feel like he’d need more after meeting her, but as he grew up and became older and more mature, and the other cultures having such an influence on him (especially humans), he felt like something was missing, and knew he’d never get it.
Years passing by, working in the order of Whispers and watching people come and go, eventually he stumbles into one agent who seems to need his support a lot. He supports the agent like he normally does to those who seek his help and support. Zethim motivated the agent and cared for their wellbeing, and eventually asked to officially make them his partner in the order. Eventually, the agent, going by the name of Sàdron, asked if it would be ok if he could be a part of Zethim’s family and be adopted as a son, fullfilling Zethim’s dream he had no idea about.

And that is where he is now. He’s currently working in Dry Top helping wounded and investigating in the new areas, doing research.
Other things I could mention about Zethim is that he is unable of controlling his Death Shroud, and rarely uses it. When he uses the power, it drains his energy out intensively. And when the death shroud-power runs out, he knocks out or has an intense headache. He is unable to get in and out of the death shroud on command, which makes it even more problematic. The power also triggers in critical situations, and works like an adrenaline kick or survival instinct.
Other important characters that has given his life a shape are Lia the Golemancer and her daughter Jezen Ivy, Juriia and many others.
Thanks for the question and sorry if something is not correct grammarwise or lore-wise!
