Writeblr Reintroduction (Remake)

Salutations! I go online by Summer Kid (S.K) but you can also refer to me as Elena. I am a young adult who loves storytelling because creating is what keeps me sane. Above all, I write original fiction.

I wanted to update my writeblr intro so here we are. Also, I want to thank the community real quick for being - delightful. Really, I have learned a lot and still learning. Thank you for everything!

What's next? I have many creative projects in store which will take time (I am slow and also life is a tool). First on the list is a remaster of the Creation and Destruction series. I also have a WIP I plan to traditionally publish in my mother tongue. Fun... and terrifying.

I will keep everyone posted whenever I have something to show. I am mostly active on my second account: @writingingraves. On there will be thrown a lot of WIP stuff into oblivion. Hehe.

The Fox With Golden Fur (Sneak Peek, Draft 1)

Empty. Only crumbs.

Gloom radiated around Elliot, shivers jumping his spine. Nothing to chew on anymore.

“Don’t bring it up.” He thought.

Alex squinted her eyes.

‘Lebay,’ she called him.

“Don’t insult me...” Elliot clawed at the table. His fingers twitched back and forth.

“I know I hurt you but stop being annoying.”

‘Why...are you so, mean.’ He managed to mumble.

‘You know why!’ Anger crossed Alex’s face. ‘Maybe it’s finally time? To, you know, actually talk about that?’ She rose her hand near her chest.

Silence fell over the room.

‘Are you...are you even sorry?’

Elliot bit his lower lip.

Deadpan, he answered: “Hm. Bimyoo kana.”

The anger faded out, replaced by a wrenched gut. If they could just talk, but they’ve already talked. They let it down.

It was a matter of forgiveness.

All it was now, hung onto Alex:

‘What are you learning Japanese for? Kaasan won’t favour you anymore - You’ll still not fit in this family anyways.’

She stepped out.

Summary:

"Iris, teen resident of Claw Valley, had the unfortunate chance to discover a peculiar gem. During one of her underwater strolls in Pine Lake, the suburbs, she caught sight of it. Bringer of unlimited abilities, both a gift and a curse; the gem's power seemed as uncanny as it was uncontrollable. Only one individual in all Claw Valley had witnessed her powers. Despite his denial, Sam did not hesitate to help Iris out of trouble. Especially since a shadow creature was in constant attempt to kill her."

Another short story? Yes. Physical work on Iris has gotten really slow so - have Under The Stars to satisfy your reader needs!

Summary:

"Not many would break through the terrors our protagonists faced almost everyday. The two adventurers made themselves known over the years. They have been doing their best in helping the ones in need and to offer their bravery, often seen as naivety, to the ones that asked for kindness. One day, as usual, they explored around Lost Springs, and fought one eyed giant. After his defeat, the situation took a strange turn. So in a blink of an eye, they found a new kind of evil, unheard of for decades. One that hid in the darkness. Seen or unseen, it was everywhere since the beginning of a new: Orphic Odyssey."

Writeblr (re)introduction

Oi! The name's Elena but I go with S.K (Summer Kid) on short! I'm a teenage girl who chose writing as the way she's going to tell the stories she always daydreams about.

I really enjoy it and I'm glad to be part of the writeblr community! I love running into mutuals!

My only plan is to show others my ocs and present my creativity. I have like 10 books in mind! Also, I noticed that I tend to write about adventure above any other genre. All my creations contain a lot of adventure, and some reduced drama from my daydreams. I read about any type of genre as well.

Two of the WIPs I've finished are;

Orphic Odyssey - A story full of episodic adventures. Two sisters that are able to travel through matter and time into other worlds (mainly places eaten by nature set in a Historical perspective), stumble upon something they've never seen before. It's main genre is as you'd already/probably guessed; Adventure! (FINISHED)

Journey Underwater - Follows a mermaid called Tulip. It's concept is alike Finding Nemo with a twist at the end. It's a shorter story than the rest. (STORY ENDED)
