Sunset & Evening Star, chapter 31: Liminal Space

Oh yeah, I posted a new chapter! In which EDI finally gets the mobile platform, Vega wants to get his ass kicked, and I explore what you might actually use a stealth ship for when fighting an enemy like the reapers.

EDI started using her new platform to help the A-gangers. Anything involving the ship’s software she could do more easily without the mobile platform, but exploring the crawlways and physical machinery was new to her. For their part, the engineers were more than happy to let her experience the novelty of heavy lifting. Unsurprisingly, the crew started referring to the body as EDI, “As if I am the mobile platform, and only use the ship’s systems for comms.” That lasted until Donnelly made a comment about the platform’s ass once it had left the room. EDI immediately responded with comments about his ass, her voice coming from a speaker near his elbow. “He jumped about a foot in the air,” Gabby cackled, describing it. “She used slang. And precise dimensions.”

This one was tough to write — I thought a verbal montage would be easy; I was wrong — but IT EXISTS! Many, many thanks to @swaps55 for helping save it from the rubbish heap.

Sun clipper and Saturn platonic headcanons

Saturn helps train sun to better fight physically to both let out his rage and anger at moon and to help become stronger so he can be of use to moon

Clipper has been sun personal therapist when it comes to what he is dealing with moon. Allowing him to vent to him and comfort and help him through it and be a short of shoulder to cry on

Both Clipper and Saturn are very protective of sun Saturn especially.

Clipper likes to bake cookies for sun and Saturn

Clipper comforts sun about him being single by saying if he was able to marry Saturn and fall in love with her the way he did then he will eventually find someone.

Saturn may or may not have threatened molten to give sun his rays back once she found out why and how he got bald

Clipper not only helps and teaches sun how to flirt but also gives him relationship advice so when he does eventually finds someone he knows what to do and how to prepare for it

Sun one time brought his cats to clipper and Saturn. They both especially Saturn absolutely loved them and constantly talked about how cute they were

Sun even brought dazzle to visit Clipper and Saturn a few times. She loves them both and the two especially seeing how sun looks after her have wondered if that maybe they can have a kid of there own

Sun Saturn and clipper constantly play video games together main one being smash bros cult of the lamb and deltarune

Clipper makes a bunch of suits for sun anytime he feels negative about his appearance in order to get his confidence up
