Happy 4-1 Day!
Hear me out.
Two protagonists. One is a blue-eyed blonde music star that is rich, is playing guitar and is an overall charmer running from paparazzi. Also has a dark-haired friend/sidekick. The other is a brunette from an average household, actively hating on said music star and has a sister that is, ironically, a massive fan. Starts warming up to the music star after getting to know him closer.
Did I just describe Klapollo or Disney Channel's 2010 movie Starstruck?
god i've been hearing about this movie so much i'm officially convinced. klapollo is the blueprint <3
Thank you for the answer ^^ One more thing I wanted to know - does the energy partially recharge per day or do we only use coins for it?
At the moment you can only purchase energy with coins! You can get up to 5 coins a day from the part time job mini-game. You can also purchase coins with real money through a paypal account. And then you can trade your coins for energy in the coffee shop!
Energy doesn’t automatically recharge per day (for now). But we may add that feature later if enough players feel it makes the game more fair. Right now our energy system is experimental and we need more data to figure out how we should adjust it!
An ask for some Addra? Setup: It's Christmas Eve, everyone is celebrating. Both Ara and Add are not that happy (Ara can't celebrate with her brother and Add misses his mom), so they try to cheer each other up. +bonus ChungEve: Eve sees this and tries to do the same for Chung (who still didn't save his dad).
Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the guild, everyone was celebrating, except for one boy of dreams unfulfilled…
“Hey,” Ara says, coming to sit next to Add. Her reindeer antler headband is lopsided. “Are you alright? You haven’t talked to anyone.”
“I guess.” Add looks down into his mug of hot chocolate. The candy cane stuck in it is slowly melting. “Why should you care, anyways?”
Ara frowns. “Why shouldn’t I care? You’re putting a damper on everyone else being happy. We’re all worried for you, Add.”
They sit in silence for a while. Add takes a cautious sip of his hot chocolate. It’s still too hot. “It’s lonely,” he remarks quietly.”I miss Christmas with my mother. She always made peppermint hot chocolate for me.”
He’s surprised to turn to find Ara’s nose turning red, a sign that she’s about to cry. “We didn’t really have Christmas where I came from,” she says, “but my brother gave me a gift every year. Now that he’s gone, it just doesn’t feel right.”
“There’s always that one little tradition that’s missing,” Add says, nodding. “But they’re gone, so I guess there’s not much we can do to bring that feeling back.”
“Yeah.” Ara rubs her eyes and grins. “But hey, there’s always time to make new traditions and new memories, right?”
Hey, it’s a start. He takes her hand, and they go together to partake in the Christmas cheer.
Soda and cookies put under the tree, in hopes that Santa’d set presents for three.
“You said your father always put soda under the tree instead of milk,” Eve says as she hands Chung a can of cola. “Why is that?”
Chung looks surprised that she’d even remember this. “We ran out of milk one Christmas, so instead Father put a can of soda there instead.” He smiles. “Thank you.”
They set the can under the tree with the cookies quietly, but the cheer that follows is loud and alive.
Your opinion on N in the anime? Or just him in general? (Asking, because I finished Pokemon White again and I'm in N mood now xD)
This is a fun question! I guess in brief I could say that I like him. It feels like my memories of the anime him are a bit hazy (it’s been almost a year since I saw those episodes) but honestly I quite liked how the anime handled his character. He wasn’t totally brainwashed like he was in the games, wasn’t as “radical”, and he learned to understand that there were also trainers who had a genuinely good relationship with their pokemon (watching Ash with Pikachu and others), and so on. Of course he’s also pure hearted and simply wishing for the happiness of his Friends, he just saw things in a bit too Black and White (eh see what I did there) way, not understanding that there are pokemon who really love their trainers and trainers who treat the ‘mon well in the beginning. In the games, before the big Climax he seemed a bit troublesome because well, he did “kidnap” the PC and all, and he seemed to genuinely believe that humans and Pokémon should not (and can’t) live together. Of course, the PC helped him to see that that’s not how things really are, and when he found out about Ghetsis, I couldn’t help but feel very bad for him (much like I felt for Alain when he found out about Lysandre’s plans. My poor manipulated boys :(). So yeah, he reminded me a lot about Alain who also did a bit problematic stuff at first because /he didn’t know/ but then finally had his “redemption arc” and understood he had been wrong all along. He’s a good boy, really. In the end, he only wanted happiness for Pokemon :3
Ps. what about you? I’d like to hear more about your view as well!
May I ask for a B4 Mastermind? XD
HOW DID YOU CALL ME, YOU BRAT ?
