I'm so glad I was able to make it to the vs art party this month :D. I didn't get lots done but I tried to draw bigger and more detailed this time around so??? Achievement there.

Slowly I'm getting better at working out these creatures and how the hell to draw on this tablet lmao (...need to evolve past the free programme to procreate lol) anyways I thiiink i'm getting there with ∅'s design. He's about half a foot taller than the normal max slider asura so thats my excuse for proportion weirdness <3. Him and what i affectionally describe as 'asurabeam!Nyr' differ both in that his tail is fur tipped rather than gem tipped but also this guy filled his horns off because they get in the way of his work. He might regret that a little but they WERE problematic for getting in small spaces. Similarly Balthazar fucked him up worse and took one of his eyes -Aurene replaced it with a crystal, he can't see out of it (but he's... had some plans to try and attach the nerves) but it is a nice prosthetic. The Asurabeam!Nyr is just a pretty simple design swap because it's a literal transformation rather than an AU. I hope my vague sketches are readable lol.

Feast Day: November 20

Saint Felix of Valois was a member of the French royal family. He was ordained a priest and wanting to live a solitary life he became a hermit. St John of Malta joined him as a hermit. One day in devout discourse, a stag, bearing a blue and red cross between its antlers, burst from the bushes. St. Felix, greatly amazed, didn’t know what to say, but St. John recalled this same vision while saying his first holy Mass. When they requested to form the Trinitarian order to ransom captives from the Moors, Pope Innocent III had the same vision during his Mass and approved the order. St Felix died of natural causes at 85.

Saint Charles Borromeo was a cardinal and archbishop of Milan from 1564 to 1584. Among the great reformers of the troubled sixteenth century, Borromeo, with St. Ignatius of Loyola, St. Philip Neri, and others, led the movement to combat the heresy of the Protestant Reformation. He was a leading figure during the Counter-Reformation and was responsible for significant reforms in the Catholic Church, including the founding of seminaries for the education of priests.

Patronage: Virgins, from unwanted advances, incest victims, martyrs, Holywell, Wales, Gwytherin, Wales, Shrewsbury, England

Saint Winifred was from a wealthy Welsh family. Legend has it that she was beheaded by a rejected suitor, Prince Caradog. Winifred’s uncle, Saint Beuno, miraculously restored her head and life. A spring sprung up where her head fell called Holywell or St. Winifred’s Well (the Lourdes of Wales) where pilgrims travel to and many miracles take place. Winifred later became a nun and Abbess at Gwytherin in Wales.
