Inktober Day #1: Ring
@saltcrcle sent ❝ You have no power over me. ❞
Sarah giggled, keeping hungry eyes on the girl in front of her. “Such confidence!” she taunted. “’Tis all in vain— we have a great deal of power over thee.” So said the witch with hardly any power at all.
My cat is probably Satan, but he's so cute, it's ok
So last night, when dealing with a ghost, I put a ring of salt down in the area where I was going to work. My dog decided she wanted to be in the circle and didn't mess it up or try to lick it, the cat however refused to go into the circle and arched his back, puffed up, and hissed at the circle. He also tried breaking the circle, and if you put him in it, he'd hop out. I probably shouldn't have found it as funny as I did, but I couldn't stop laughing.
✊Hey, it's me standing next to my piece at @anonpopup 's Rise group exhibition! ✊ I think we can all agree that 2019 was an iconic year for South African women standing up for their human rights and denouncing femicide.👩🏻👩🏾👩🏿👩🏼👩🏽 The Rise exhibition celebrates this moment in history with a range of photography, art, protest signs and poetry. 🏙The exhibition is running till Monday the 28th 0f October at Salt Circle Arcade in Salt River. Proceeds of art sales go to Nonceba Family Councelling Centre in Khayelitsha. 🏙 ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ #whatsoncapetown #capetownmagazine #next48hours #saltcircle #localart #artcapetown #exhibition #capetownartist #southafrica #femaleartists #femaleillustrators #southafricanartists #capetown #womxn #womensrights #femicide #keeptheenergy #enoughisenough #drawing #illustration #illustratorsofinstagram #uyinene #youhavestruckarock #comicart #politicalcomics #darkcomics #digitalart #adobeillustrator #wacomtablet https://www.instagram.com/p/B4A_8Q_pjP8/?igshid=w0nndwu3p4n8

Honestly, if we didn't have Supernatural we wouldn't know when to make a salt circle. 👌
Easy Protection Spell
You will need:
A small candle (white or dark blue)
Olive, avocado, or grapeseed oil
Italian seasoning (Yes, from the spice aisle)
Lots of plain white salt.
Rub the candle down with the oil, then sprinkle the herbs all over it. Make sure you set the candle on a flame and heat resistant plate or candle holder.
Place the candle on the floor and use the salt to make a circle around it and yourself. Leave enough space to sit comfortably.
Burn the candle while you meditate or pray to your preferred spirit/deity. Focus on your physical, mental, and emotional health and safety. If you need protection from something specific, this is the time to bring that up.
When the candle has burnt out, break the salt circle with your hand before you exit. Make sure you thank your deity first.
If you have a yard you are allowed to dig in, bury any remnants of the candle on your property. If you can't do that, bury it in the woods.
