Gabriel felt a rumble of delight rise from his chest as he watched his mate. He couldn’t stop grinning as Sam’s teeth met his skin and his talons flexed, curling in. “Well now that sounds more tempting than hunting animals. But would you really get full enough?”

Sam licked his lips and growled. His tail flicked excitedly as he watched his harpy. The beautiful creature was everything to him, “Oh, I’d be so full, baby.”

“Mmm, now I don’t want to actually hunt,” he complained, a tremble running down his spine at the growl from his mate. “It’s not the animals will all just disappear when it gets dark. We could...maybe have some fun first?” Gabriel suggested, blushing lightly, “If you want.”

A sad smile formed on her lips.  She knew what this was going to do to him.  What this meant.  “I know that Jimmy.  I’m scared.”  As much as they meant to each other, deep down ray knew he married this job long ago and not even she was enough to make up for the loss.  “Don’t worry, I’m gonna fix it somehow.”  She would do whatever it took for him.

“He has.”  She touched Jimmy’s arm before she picked up the signed paperwork.  “Okay I need ta get him now.  See if I can start fixin’ this. First thin is ta get Stanley.  I can’t leave him alone while I go ta Gray.”  And she trusted the farmer to make sure that Bill didn’t do anything stupid.

“Thank you for bein’ his friend n callin’ me.”  She was grateful but right now she had things to do.  She walked back to Bill.  “Ready handsome?”

It really wasn’t her place.  She tried very hard to put her feelings aside by the whole situation but deep down it bothered her.  “Sammy, ya are more fucked up now than ya were before.”  And she honestly believed that.  “It’s really not my place n I’m not tryin’ ta tell ya what ta do.  Chuck knows I’ve got no fuckin’ clue what I’m doin’ ninety percent of the time but...  Everythin’ about your relationship screams unhealthy n it’s nothin’ against you or Gabe but some thins jus aren’t meant ta be...”  She looked down unable to look at him.  “Do ya really think that’s love?”

Sam looked hurt and pouted, “Ray, I’m offended you’d think I’d make such a joke.” He handed her a Tupperware container, “I’ve been practicing cooking. I made shrimp scampi over pasta for Gabriel last night. I made too much, so I brought you some.”

Damn those eyes.  It actually made her feel a twinge of guilt for assuming that.  “Don’t do that Sammy.”  She said before she looked at the container.  Her stomach growled lightly.  “Everyone jokes about my height.  I’m adorable but I’m the size of a elf.”  Her mouth was watering.  “Well thank you.  Best brother ever.”  She jumped up to kiss his cheek before she went to grab a fork so she could chow down.  “So how is our pregnant archangel?”

A brow rose at his words then she dropped her head.  “I thought he learned his lesson with that.  Does he really wanna pick a fight with his stronger older brother?”  It didn’t make sense to her.  “But I can feel for him.  I was pretty upset the first time it happened ta our house.  But considerin’ he can make alternate realities n shit then couldn’t he jus snap his fingers n fix it?”  

Her eyes widened at the news.  “Is he fuckin’ stupid!?  Good god!  Between you n De I’m gonna die young.  Y’all stress the hell out of me.”

“Our talk?!” She was completely confused what she had to do with this.  She hadn’t ever wanted that.  It was horrible.  The last thing Gabe needed was to be like the rest of those assholes.  He was different and she liked that.

Astonishment washed over her at the young Winchester’s comment.  She opened her mouth to say something but then stopped herself.  After a few moments she gave him a little smile.  “At least ya have seen him.  I’d happily trade with ya if I could.  Maybe when he is bein’ clingy ya could tell him to come see me instead.”
