My best friend since fourth grade was married today. She's lived in Texas since we started college and now she's moving even further away to Germany. There were a lot of past church people (the church that I kinda stopped attending) and her family was there. Her family used to be my family, too. I miss them. Everything was overwhelming and every type of emotion I could have felt, I felt. So I bowed out. I ran away a couple of different times because I needed long moments to myself to gather my thoughts. I tried to say goodbye and I'm fairly certain that she didn't even want to talk to me because of the fact that I was disappearing. I am sad about that. It was a more difficult weekend that I had anticipated. I love you, Sarah-Gail. You're engrained in my heart, and I sincerely want you to know that I loved being your bridesmaid. To know you is an honor. May happiness follow you and Frank always.
