They say that "almost" is the saddest word. But I never understood why. That was of course, before I met you. Before we "almost" were a thing, before we "almost" were in love. You know? Like we "almost" made it but something fucked up or we fucked up somewhere along the road & suddenly the rest of the journey wasn't all love and laughter, suddenly the things we loved about each other became burdens in our busy life style & eventually we gave up.
