Yo dudes!It’s been a while since I’ve adopted a new username... but I’ve been rethinking my title for a bit and I think I’m gonna slowly transition to the name “Saikyo Hero Cosplay” for a Facebook cosplay page!!

But I realize that I can’t exactly give up the name “Scarecrow” that I’ve been using for over a decade... so I’m stickin with Scarecrow-Hero to get the best of both worlds!

Now though, I totally love the name.  Kinda happy that I didn’t manage to get the first one.

My Questions:

What song (or songs) always makes you think of your muse?

Anything from the Tron soundtrack, really.  I’m so convinced that Vexen is closely connected with the Grid in some way.  There’s also a few very feels-y songs that get me thinking about Even and the apprentices like Pompeii from Bastille. I’ve got full playlists of songs that I think pertain to certain characters though.  One of my most fun references though is definitely ‘Sweet Transvestite’ from Rocky Horror Picture show, followed up by anything science oriented. :)

What do you do to get in character?

I feel like I’ve been roleplaying Vexen for so long now, all I have to do is vaguely reach into the back of my mind, poke Vexen in the ribs and ignore the grumbling and yelling about disrespect until he finally just crawls out of my brain and on to the page.

What is something you do not like that people assume about your character and why?

People assume he’s a pedophile. I never quite understood why this tends to happen, but I have never been OK with this.  The man is hardly ‘sexual’, and you’re trying to imply that he’s preying off of children? I just don’t buy that.  Yes, his interest in Riku is rather unnerving, but I think it was more so to point out his unhinged nature in wanting to replicate his power, not a weird and twisted sexual desire.

If you have a canon character, what is one small/silly fandom headcanon that you like? If you have an OC, what is one of your favorite small/silly headcanons for your OC?

My favorite headcanon for Vexen is that he doesn’t eat well at all.  If he’s even bothering to stop for food, he’s usually having something so jam packed with sodium, empty calories and disgusting fats/sugars that it’s a miracle he’s even standing. He pretty much lives off of super sweet coffee, instant ramen and energy drinks.  Also, what is sleep?

Any memorable threads you often go back and read again?

Not lately, I’m afraid, but I’m very fond of my COMPLETED FANFICTION.  I want everyone to read it because it was so much fun to write. Please read it! :)
