You know, going out of her way to bring a bush to the gate is pretty impressive. Bonus points.

thinking about what meiling actually does when she is gatekeeping (literally).

like, she is canonically known to be sleeping on the job. her chi manipulation thing wakes her up when there is an actual intruder, i hope. she takes a nap at noon. she does tai chi chuan daily.

but other than that, what does she do? like, does she look at birds? does she hit up a conversation with a passerby?

even further, what does she do when she gets off work? i think i heard that she reads manga, but im not sure. and WHEN does she get off work? does she just stay outside until sakuya frees her?

assuming she works from 6:00-19:00 sharp, that means 13 hours (12 if you assume her nap is an hour), what the hell does she do
