Horror x Couldren and... clowns?

I call this “Mod Jane Doe Storytime” because I have no idea what else to do with this.

So I used to help out at a haunted-hallways type deal and it was a lot of fun and one time our theme was an oddities and curiosities store and we had a giant couldren and we put our shoes in it and we stirred our shoes around this empty giant couldren.

I don’t have pictures from that year but I do have pictures from the year after which was CLOWN THEMED:

And two bonus pictures of me and my best friend (October 2018- 19 years old) while we set up and worked:

Everything you see in these photos is hand-made/brought by our friend and their family who is extremely artistically talented and loves all things Halloween. It’s thanks to them we got to have such a wonderful time the two years we were able to attend. This event takes place at the three of our’s middle school.

Minneapolis Elementary School Toilets

We’ve recently added nearly 500 glass-plate negatives to the Minneapolis Public Schools Collection. Included among these photos are dozens of images of the dismal restroom facilities in Minneapolis schools in the early 20th century. The images give a fascinating look at what appear to be primarily basement restrooms, lit by natural light from large windows. Of note is the single roll of toilet paper mounted outside the first stall in many of the images and the outhouses at the old Gresham School. Nearly all of the schools pictured here were built in the 1880s and the photographs were likely taken between 1905 and 1915. The newest and cleanliest of the restrooms pictured above is Bancroft School, lower left corner, which was built in 1912. It featured fresh, white subway tiles and the latest in urinal designs.
