It’s a little hard to believe that seven months of this year have already passed us by, I’m just glad September is not a busy month.
On a separate note, the rooftop has become my haven these days, especially during early mornings with the clouds and the sharp air and the birds chirping:)
🎵: Exile by Taylor Swift ft. Bon Iver (It’s my favourite song from the album🥺)

How to prepare for an exam in less than a week
I got an anon ask enquiring on how to study for an exam when only 4 days are left and I deleted it by mistake🤡
So anon if you’re seeing this, I’m not ignoring you, I’m just idiotic sometimes.
Anyway, First order of business should be taking a few deep breaths, you’re gonna be fine, You can do it and i believe in you:)
My usual plan of action in such a situation would be:-
- divide your syllabus into 3 parts, so that each portion has a few chapters
- You’re gonna do 1 out of 3 portions on the first 3 days
- I believe in extensive testing, So read notes of a chapter or watch a video and then TEST YOURSELF.
- You can use a study guide for questions or just choose whatever study material you think the exam is going to be based upon.
- After you’ve done the test, evaluate yourself and see where you went wrong. Write down the names of the topics that you found difficult (for later reference)
- Complete the chapters you’ve assigned for each day
- On the last day, Go over and understand the logic behind the questions you got wrong. Then make a mega question paper, filled with all those questions and test yourself again.
- After that, just read notes and watch videos of your study material. Go over everything again
- If you have time, attempt question papers from previous years and stick to the stipulated time limit for eg: if your actual test’s duration is 3 hours, solve the previous years’ question paper for 3 HOURS ONLY.
- Please sleep for 8 hours everyday. You won’t be productive if you don’t get adequate sleep. Early to bed and early to rise rule.
- EAT. don’t starve yourself please, keep having light snacks every once in a while.
- Constantly drinking a cups of coffee may seem tempting but there are side effects so please try to limit it as much as possible.
- Take breaks after each chapter’s test but you can also choose to deactivate social media if it distracts you too much.
Whatever happens, at the end of the day this is just an exam. So please don’t be too hard on yourself, try your best but please don’t jeopardise your health in the process
Hope you do well!
Love, N.
