The Scorpion Sentinel is the first boss of Final Fantasy VII (and Final Fantasy VII Remake).

The mechanic of the fight (in the original) is actually described in the flavor text, when it raises its tail you have to wait before attacking it or you'll get counterattacked, but that kind of thing is really difficult to represent on a magic card.

LARK selects Ice.

HOWL uses Blizzaga. It's super effective!

BROODMOTHER: I will make this act of treachery known, Howl. HOWL: … HOWL: Actually, no such act has been committed. HOWL: Currently, my priority job is to assist the player. Everything else comes secondary. BROODMOTHER: THAT'S NOT A PLAYER. LARK: ...yes i am! LARK: i’m playing the game, aren’t i? BROODMOTHER: What have I said about talking back?
