"Selfie Pullie” really captures Millenial selfie-driven culture ala Kero Kero Bonito’s “Picture This.” I mean, we think it does, the only English words we caught are Instagram, Facebook and “let’s take a selfie.” There’s even a reference to duck face.
According to India Times, this song went viral in Romania where “pulla” means penis. Why hasn’t this scandalous story gone totally global? Furthermore, for an English speaker, this song sounds light and upbeat, right? According to Wiki, this song comes from a film that “focuses on the issue of farmers committing suicide due to corporate encroachment.” #Damn.
