So can you explain to me how emerald a person who's been with cinder constantly managed to copy ruby's new appearance completely?

I got nothing my dood. There are no justifications in-series. We know Why its cause animating is costly and they didnt want to allocate their resources to such a short scene for a one time use (but at the same time they didnt NEED to show Cinder Burning a Fake!Ruby so why have that scene if the internal logic will Crumble!!!) Its annoying how we cant even have a ca30 second scene without having to suspend our disbelief because of crud continuity.Even if Salem pulled a magical crystal ball out of her skirt next volume and went “Oh hey lets use this Crystal ball to see where our enemies are, which by the way you, Emerald Sustrai, used last volume!” It would just be sloppy damage control.But to play devils advocate we dont have anEXACT idea how Emeralds semblance works. If the mirages created are by her imagining or recollecting or if what pops up is what they are currently wearing or something. This is a pretty weak defense,,, this is what happens when no rules are laid down, everything is simultaneosly right and wrong and no one can prove the writers you wrong.

Why does a majority of the population in the rwby verse not have their aura activated? Its not like aura is a secret thanks to the Vytal festival an internationally live broadcasted event that is based around the usage and control of aura. The commentators openly discuss semblances and aura and the amount of aura left in ones body determines if one can continue fighting.  Granted we dont know how one normally goes about doing that, only examples are Pyrrhas injection help and baby!rens inexplicable ability to suddenly use his semblance. But in a world where Grimm is “The Biggest Threat to Humanity” if you for instance had an inherent defense that would protect you even when unconscious wouldnt you want to capitalize and let everyone in on it? A street rat like Emerald was able to activate hers which means that bad guys with their aura on have an even greater upper hand against your civilian population. There is literally nothing to lose here so why?? Are the global producers and beneficiaries of remnants bandaid companies holding the goverments at gunpoint??? OK so I know Why they dont show anyone being able to use aura because the main characters need to be main characters yadda yadda, yet that doesnt excuse the passive excuses some of the background characters are reduced to. Even a mention of them trying to take that geist down themselves or a shot of some bandaged villages from episode 1 would have sufficed!! 

But we all know the Real Real reason for this is because the writers shot themselves in the foot big time when making it so that characters Both Had to Have unique Weapons AND unique Semblances. They can barely keep up giving semblances to the current cast if theyd try to expand it to their background characters npcs they would die.

So uh... Had baby!Ren activated his aura beforehand the invasion or is this a confirmation that Aura and Semblance are not correlated with each other?
