I got through ME1 in MELE with Caleb, and while I really want to get Serafina's game going, I'm torn because I miss biotics, too. So... I pulled out the Spreadsheet and selected...
Becca Shepard. Spacer/War Hero/Sentinel (which may/may not change in later games)
Becca's story isn't the traditional Shepard story. Rebecca "Becca" Shepard is the older, lesser known sibling of Anna Shepard, the Butcher of Torfan and Savior of the Citadel. In a family well known for its years of service to the Alliance, Becca is actually the odd one out.
Becca is sixteen when her biotics manifest, and her parents, wanting to keep things quiet, send her off to Gagarin Station for BAaT. When the situation there deteriorates, she returns to her parents until she turns eighteen, when family tradtition dictates that each Shepard enlists. Becca does just to get away from her family situation.
During her years of service, Becca performs her duties to the best of her ability while remaining behind the scenes. Until one day in 2176 during shore leave on Elysium, she happens to be in the right place at the right time. Her actions there earn her a promotion as well as an invitation to ICT, as well as bringing her to the attention of one Staff Commander David Anderson. A little over a year or so into her training, her younger sister, Anna, is sent to ICT as well after her actions on Torfan.
While Anna makes a name for herself, Becca again retreats to the background. Once she achieves her N7 designation, she takes an unusual step and requests to be a part of the training program. In a compromise, she is sent to Pinnacle Station where she works with humans (many of whom are Ns when they come through) and aliens alike. The arrangement is an agreeable career path for Becca, and she plans to finish out her service here...
Until Anna dies over Alchera, a stranger arrives on her doorstep, she comes face to face with unresolved family issues, and she is teamed up with an old friend from the past...
~~~
Here are a few more pictures of her.
Oh, I should mention, Dr. Karin Chakwas is also her aunt. Karin and Hannah are sisters. Hannah is married to Robert Shepard.
(and for those who know me and my Shepard Spreadsheet, Becca is actually a combination of #54 and #77)
Found this giftbox that has absolutely no meaning whatsoever.
I think it's "congratulations on finding this Easter egg, but as usual, it means nothing!!"
It baffles me how people still discriminate against human biotics. Especially if Commander Shepard is one, be it Vanguard, adept or sentinel.
You think human biotics are freaks? Well, guess what, a human biotic saved the goddamn galaxy.. soooo think again.
