The Thin Red Line Outtakes (Part I, II)
The Major Matt Mason Firebolt Space Cannon from Mattel.
The Major Matt Mason Space Power Suit (even though that's Sergeant Storm on the cover).
Sergeant Storm, "Major Matt Mason's space buddy."
The Major Matt Mason page of the 1968 Gamble-Aldens Christmas catalog.
Gamble-Aldens (originally just Aldens) was a Midwest retail department store chain headquartered in Chicago, which is why folks on either coast (like me) probably never heard of it.
I'd've Santa-listed the heck out of all the items on this page, except perhaps the gargantuan Captain Lazer. Although I don't recall as a kid knowing anything about the captain, even a dullard like me would be able to tell he doesn't fit in with the rest of the Major Matt Mason line.
