Anyway last post (not canon to my AU) was inspired by this idea (which IS canon to my AU)

You all can blame my partner for this bc they mentioned something about Scott owning a gun and my initial reaction was "haha Scott would NOT" but after 5 seconds of thought I realized I actually love that idea.

It strengthens my theme of Scott coming across as tame and non-threatening but secretly having a little bite to him. Mild-mannered, very friendly, etc. but if he feels cornered he will do ANYTHING to survive. Would not surprise me if a large part of the reason he started carrying is bc he's afraid of his secret (GAY) getting out & someone trying to hate crime him bc of it. I do think he would have owned a gun long before starting to carry tho (in case of a home invasion) (he's just a little paranoid sometimes).

Cough cough this theme is reflected in my monster Scott design. Aw fluffy little creature purrs & wags his tail files down his claws to be less fearsome so cute CARNIVORE, SHARP TEETH MEANT FOR TEARING INTO FLESH AND CRACKING BONES HIDDEN BEHIND THE UNASSUMING PHONE HEAD. He is NOT a predator but he is not harmless by any means and underestimating him WILL get you hurt.

Monster Vincent's design is also reflective of his personality but I can yap about that another day

[PART 2/2]

ALSO these two parts are section 1 of 2 that I have planned, section 2 takes place the next morning but that's gonna take me a few weeks to draw so have patience (it will also be broken into at least 2 posts)

At first I was only gonna make Vincent's bedsheets purple but I think it's infinitely funnier if his entire room is purple.

I feel like neither of them would really be into Halloween that much but Halloween is my favorite holiday so I had to do SOMETHING.

In my AU, Scott thinks wearing a costume is a bit childish, but will humor others without much pushback. He understands why others enjoy it, however he would never actively seek out spaces that require him to dress up for Halloween.

Vincent doesn't get holiday traditions in general. He thinks most of them are silly and useless. He only participates in festivities if he can't avoid them, or if someone he cares about/wants to impress really enjoys the holiday.

I have something else Halloween-related planned but idk if I'll actually get around to finishing it
