Hunker Your Bunker

These wind storms lately have been atrocious. No power. Trees across roads. Fences flattened. Trees on houses. The fact that the middle schools were closed but ours wasn't.  The rain along with it. Everything bad about it. It did make the trees look really pretty though. This is March so there is probably more windstorms to come.

This Break

Spring break: our little slice of heaven in second semester. This year our spring break is, instead of a pathetic The of freedom, two almost three week. Have a good time and I hope this time is a good time.

Grad vs Teacher Hockey Game Scandal

Apparently there is not going to be a student versus teacher hockey game. This is a tad upsetting because it is a tradition. The teacher I asked about it said "Us teachers don't want to do it (the hockey game). We'll get creamed because the grad class is an actual hockey team because of the Hatzic hockey school." I addressed the fact that at Hatzic, with their hockey school, still had a grad versus teacher match. The teacher responded with "Well that's because they have good hockey players like Mr.Jepson and Mr Vos." Mr. Jepson hasn't been the principal of Hatzic in years but the game was still played.So there you have it, the scoop on why the grad versus teacher game likely isn't going to happen. The teachers are scared to get creamed that's why.
