"Han!" you sang as you walked into the massive beach house you had been in a million times before. It was an annual summer tradition.
"(Y/N)!" he gasped before running over to hug you.
You squeezed him back, your cheeks aching from how wide you were smiling. It had been a long semester of college, but at last, your freshman years were behind you.
"Ew get a room," someone said in disgust from the doorway as they entered.
You pulled away from Han to see his frustratingly childish older brother Jaeyoon. Every summer he'd snitch on you and get you in trouble or blackmail you and Han into doing his chores.
"What are you doing here?" you rolled your eyes as you smacked his hand away when he tried to playfully pinch your cheek.
He smirked but answered, "Someone's gotta buy the alcohol."
"Han..." you groaned in complaint, shocked he'd withheld the fact that your least favorite person of all time was going to be staying with you.
"Don't give me that look," he teased as he whispered, "We can just kick him out once we have the goods."
"Fine..." you sighed, knowing he was right since neither of you was 21 yet. "Just don't expect me to be nice to him or anything."
Han smiled with a laugh. "I doubt you'll even see much of him."
The front door opened again and Lee Know suddenly walked through, looking wide-eyed at the house. "Wow!"
Han turned in shock, taking off in a sprint towards his boyfriend. "What are you doing here!" he exclaimed as he crashed into him and peppered his cheeks with kisses.
"I got off work," he replied with a peck to his cheek. "I hate when we're apart."
You wanted to be happy for him...really you did. But a little detail pricked your mind. "Han..."
Han turned with flushed cheeks and his hand in an oblivious Lee Know's. "Sorry," he apologized before ushering Lee Know to his room to set up his things.
You groaned and looked down the hall, knowing only one room remained.
Jaeyoon flung his arm around your shoulder. "Need help unpacking... roomie?"
You shrugged him off and stomped to the room to put away your things. Unfortunately, Jaeyoon wasn't smart enough to leave you alone, and you could hear his footsteps following you down the hall.
You opened the door and spotted all of his clothes thrown about and turned to glare at him. "Why is it so messy?"
He shrugged. "Didn't know what to wear to the party tonight."
You scoffed and pulled on the stretched collar of his ragged t-shirt. "And you settled on this?"
He briefly looked hurt while you began making a pile of his things and organizing your own items into drawers, but suddenly appeared at your side. He crouched to be at your level and got so close to your face you could feel his breath. "This is just what I'm wearing to the store, roomie. My outfit for the party is hung in the closet."
"Well roomie...do us both a favor and buy some breath mints while you're out," you sneered.
Jaeyoon chuckled and shook his head. "What alcohol did you want?"
"Malibu," you answered.
Jae winced as if pained at the thought. "Pick something else. That's for broke college girls who don't know what real alcohol tastes like."
"Maybe it's news to you Jae, but I am a broke college girl who doesn’t know what real alcohol tastes like.”
“Then let me buy you something else,” he pleaded.
You shook your head defiantly. “Unless you want to end up holding my hair all night you’ll get me Malibu.”
He rolled his eyes and headed off down the hall without another word. You victoriously spun around to continue unpacking, though Jaeyoon’s outfit in the closet called to you. You stood and opened the door to see what he’d chosen to wear and were surprised to find it non-repulsive. In fact, you were pretty sure he’d worn the white knit top last summer and you’d complimented him on finally wearing big-boy clothes. You smiled at the memory until Han interrupted it.
“Fuck I’m so sorry,” he whispered, eyes anxiously checking to make sure nobody overheard. “I didn’t know he’d show up and…I mean he took off work for the week. He won’t be here the whole summer, but for now…”
“Han it’s fine,” you told him. “Jae can buy our alcohol and if he gets too weird I’ll just sleep on the couch.”
“That couch sucks,” he reminded you. “I’m pretty sure I was conceived on that couch.”
“Thanks for the visual,” you laughed and playfully shoved him. “Now…how many people are coming tonight?”
————————————————————————————
Nobody else showed up.
“Sorry again, guys,” Han apologized as he swirled his vodka and Coke in the plastic solo cup.
Lee Know put his arm around his shoulder in support. “It’s okay,” he said. “We can just enjoy the party next Saturday.”
“I thought I double checked the dates,” he groaned as he buried himself in his hands.
“I say we make our own party,” Jae began as he turned up the music. With nobody else there, he was hard to ignore, and he danced his way to the kitchen to make more drinks. “(Y/N) only knows what Malibu tastes like, so I suggest we use tonight to show her what she’s been missing!” he shouted over the music that was entirely too loud.
“Only Malibu?” Han asked in surprise.
“I love California!” Lee Know grinned, unable to hear the context of the conversation.
“It’s cheap and tastes good in Coke!” you yelled back in defense.
“That’s fair!” Han replied.
“Drugs are bad!” Lee Know scolded.
“Drugs are bad,” Jae agreed teasingly as he handed you a cup.
“What is it?” you grimaced as you stared into the dark mixture.
“Just drink it,” he urged as he tilted the cup.
You rushed to catch it before it spilt, and sipped something fruity and warm. “Mmmm,” you hummed.
“You like it?” he cocked his brow knowingly.
“What is it?”
“A sangria,” he explained.
“What’s in it?” you asked as you sipped more.
“Red wine, brandy, and orange juice. I also threw some berries in there.”
“Well…I like it,” you complimented him as you downed the rest. “Can you make me another?”
Jae took a deep breath and for a moment you thought he’d say no, but then he took the cup, skimming his fingers with yours, and stood. You found your eyes trailing after him, fixated on the swish of his hips.
“What was that?” Han joked.
“A sangria!” you shouted to him, cheeks blushing from the warmth of the brandy.
“Oh, those are good!” Han replied.
“My favorite is Cinnamoroll!” Lee Know cheesed.
Han smiled at him and kissed his cheek. “You’re so cute,” he laughed as Lee Know’s face grew pink.
“Here,” Jaeyoon offered, handing you a cup with a lighter liquid inside.
“No sangria?” you pouted, trying to give it back.
“You’ll like this too,” he assured you, being nicer than he had in years as he turned down the music.
“What is it?” you asked again as you picked up and gagged at a leaf.
“A mojito,” he informed you.
“Oh…” you said as you stared at it, wondering what purpose a leaf had in a drink.
“Try it,” he urged again.
“Can’t I just have another Sangria?”
“No,” he shook his head. “This is a learning opportunity. Try it.”
“If I hate it will you make me a Sangria?” you bargained, flicking the leaf to the floor.
He sighed and rolled his eyes. “Sure. If you hate it I’ll make you a Sangria.”
“Okay…” you pouted as you pinched your nose shut and took a sip.
Han laughed and Jaeyoon sat back with a disappointed scowl. The chilly, mint liquid went down your throat and you pulled away, shocked.
“That’s pretty good!” you told him as if it were news he wouldn’t have known.
“You should make her a French 75 next!” Han suggested as you sipped the mojito.
“I didn’t get champagne,” Jaeyoon shrugged. “I could make a margarita.”
“Surely she’s had a margarita before,” Lee Know defended.
All eyes turned to you, and you shyly hid behind your cup and shook your head. “Well shit,” Jaeyoon stood and immediately began making a margarita.
You stood and followed him, arguing that you weren’t even done with the mojito yet.
“Then drink up, because you’re trying a margarita.”
He finished his own drink, too, and poured two margaritas out, handing one to you and keeping one for himself. He taste-tested it and nodded in satisfaction before his lips curled into a smile.
You were eager to taste what he made look so good, so you finished off the mojito and reached for the cup.
“Oh fuck,” you moaned as you slapped the counter. “That’s yummy.”
They all laughed and you followed Jaeyoon to the couch to listen to Han and Lee Know recount the story of how they met. The alcohol began to hit and made everything feel warm and nice. You zoned in and out of listening to their story, but still felt comforted by their words and exchanged glances. At some point, you stumbled to the kitchen and dumped the rest of the margarita Jaeyoon had left in the blender into your cup.
“Whoa,” Jae pulled the cup away, just as you were about to take another sip. “Aren’t you drunk already?”
You shrugged with a sleepy smile. “‘s not like I’m driving.”
Jae couldn’t argue with that and handed it back. You grinned and kissed his cheek as you walked past him. “Another sangria, Jae.”
He looked unsure about it but Han overheard and demanded that he and Lee Know be served one as well so Jaeyoon whipped up a round for everyone. “Final call!” he announced as he handed them out.
“Hannie!” Lee Know squealed.
Han laughed and took over the Bluetooth knowingly. “Already on it, baby.”
Closing Time began playing over the speakers and they stood to sway together and sip their last drinks. You watched with a dazed grin until Jaeyoon appeared and offered you his hand.
Normally, you’d be disgusted by the mere idea of dancing with him, but tonight, he seemed different. You weren’t sure if it was the shirt or the drinks or maybe a mixture of both, but he was charming.
“I didn’t make you a drink yet,” you joked as he twirled you around.
“I’ve definitely had a Malibu and Coke,” he laughed as he pulled you closer to slow dance. He sipped his drink with one hand and held your lower back with the other. You leaned against him, finding him soft and cozy and wishing you could sleep standing up.
“I think four is your limit, roomie,” he hummed as he took the cup from your limp hand to place on the counter.
You shook your head weakly in defiance, “Four is your limit, Jae Jae. I could have like sixty-twelve more.”
“Sixty-twelve?” he teased, setting his own drink down too now so he could fully support you.
“Mhm,” you yawned as you looped your arms around his neck. “I’m so sober right now.”
Jaeyoon breathed softly as you clutched his shoulders. His heart thudded against your cheek that had fallen against his chest, and when the song ended, he didn’t even move.
At some point, Han and Lee Know had scurried off, but Jae caressed your back and cheek, swaying to nothing until your eyes fluttered open.
“I’m sleepy,” you confessed.
“I know,” he breathed. “Let’s get you to bed.”
You nodded and let him guide you, each step feeling like a battle as your feet weighed several tons now. You crawled right onto the bed and fought to remove your jeans before sinking into the warmth of the bed.
The last thing you saw before fully passing out was Jaeyoon’s shirt being pulled off his frame, his muscled form shadowed in the moonlight.
————————————————————————————
Your eyes blinked open slowly, the world coming into focus far slower than normal.
You were at Han’s house…in a bed…feeling incredibly warm. You pulled back and realized you had fallen asleep on Jae’s chest…his bare chest.
“Oh god,” you gasped, pulling away at the comforter to check that you were clothed. Thankfully, you were. You spotted your jeans on the floor and tried to snatch them, but Jaeyoon’s warm hand pressed against your stomach, holding you hostage against him.
“Stay,” he complained, his voice low and tired.
“Jae, let go,” you complained as you squirmed free, falling off the bed in the process. “Why were you cuddling me?”
A hint of confusion flashed across his features. “You asked me to.”
“No I did not!” you argued. “Why would I ever…”
Jaeyoon sat up and pulled out his phone. A you that you didn’t recognize was sitting up in bed, eyeing him as he approached.
“(Y/N)?” he began, his voice soft and dreamy. “What did you just ask me?”
Your eyes shone as your voice slurred, “Wanna cuddle?” before the video ended.
You sat with your jaw open, gazing at the evidence that shouldn’t have existed. “I didn’t…I don’t know what…what I’d…”
“Alcohol reveals our needs,” he said.
“Or lowers our inhibitions,” you mumbled.
“You also kissed me,” he began, your eyes nearly falling out of your head at the news. “On the cheek…” he added.
“No I did not!” you fought.
“You did,” he repeated. “And you called me Jae Jae.”
You buried your face in your pillow, entirely too embarrassed to face him. “I did not.”
You’d had a crush on Jaeyoon when you were younger, but as an older kid, he thought you were a pest. Still, you’d doodled Jae Jae across every notebook page that summer.
He ran his hand down your back, exactly as he had in the blurry memory of last night. “You want me, don’t you?” he asked, his voice deep and desperate.
You hadn’t expected to feel like this again.
“You were so quick to take your pants off last night,” he informed you as his hand traveled down your lower back to the curve of your ass. You couldn’t think from how dizzy you felt. His touch was better than you ever expected…more sure of himself and teasing. “You wanted to fuck, hmm?” he taunted as his finger teased your cunt over your panties.
“Jae,” you moaned into the pillow, suffocating some of the desperation.
His finger moved even more until it found your clit, and he circled it expertly as you gasped and writhed, unwilling to believe this wasn’t some elaborate joke.
“Jae, what are you doing?” you gasped, still using the pillow to hide your needy eyes.
“Right now I’m testing how good you’ll be for me,” he smirked, eyes shining when you whipped around in shock at his audacity. “Seems you’ll be good unless you’re told you’re being good, interesting.”
“Jae…what are we doing? This is ridiculous,” you breathed as you went to cover yourself with the comforter.
He pulled it off and eyed the wet spot on your panties with a bite of his lip. “Take them off.”
“Jae. I just said…” You were interrupted by his moan as he wrapped his fist around his hardened cock.
You couldn’t stop yourself from staring and felt a twist in your stomach at the shameless sight as he lowered his boxers and let you see all of him.
“Take them off,” he begged again as he curled his thumb around his pretty pink tip. He was already leaking.
So you gave in. You pulled off your underwear and tossed them to the bed just as he pounced. His knees bit into your thighs, holding you apart for him as his strong arms caged you in.
“I’m going to kiss you now,” he warned as his eyes gazed at your lips.
“O…okay,” you agreed, puckering them for him just as he leaned in.
He filled you the moment your lips touched. You whined and pressed your lips tightly to his, moaning against him as he stretched every inch of you to the extremes. You felt a tear or two fall down your cheeks from his size, and he pulled back to brush them away, caressing your cheek lovingly as he observed your reaction.
“You okay?”
You nodded and gazed down to see his waist flat against yours. “You’re just bigger than I thought,” you said, feeling relieved he wasn’t any bigger.
He smirked and pushed in again. “So you’ve thought about me?”
You rolled your eyes and pushed his chest. “Don’t flatter yourself.”
He laughed and set his pace, one that had the bed squeaking, and your lips attached to each other’s to fight against the moans. Neither of you wanted the other to know how good they felt. But fuck did it feel good.
“I’m not ashamed to say…” he confessed between kisses. “That I imagined this too.”
Your cheeks burned at the knowledge of that. “And?” you asked, wondering how you measured up.
“Fuck,” he grunted. “You feel even better than I thought you would.” He squeezed your hip and kissed you again, leaving a trail along your neck and shoulders, nibbling and biting as he pleased.
Your cunt tightened whenever he bit, and he smirked against your skin as if that was what he wanted all along.
“Jae,” you breathed, your body aching from the pace. “Harder.”
“Fuck you’re perfect,” he rasped as his cock thrashed into you, hitting so deep inside you thought you’d burst. You pressed your hand to his headboard so your head wouldn’t hit it, and looked up at his sweaty locks framing his face and his eyes dark with lust. He looked hot…really hot.
“You’re close, aren’t you?” he cooed as he caressed your pink cheeks.
You bit your lip and nodded, running your hands from his biceps to his shoulders. Every part of him was perfectly built.
“I’m gonna cum when you cum,” he warned.
“Inside?” you asked, a flutter in your chest at the image of him leaking out of you.
He pressed his lips to yours. “You want me to fill you up, baby?”
You couldn’t suppress the moans anymore. Jaeyoon’s voice was so sultry that you could feel yourself leaking more for him.
“Wanna feel me empty into you?” he breathed
“Jae,” you whimpered as you squeezed him close and rocked your hips into his, desperately seeking your end.
He kept you secured against him with one hand, but snaked the other between you. “Why don’t you get a little louder, hmm?” he taunted just as his thumb tapped your clit.
You gasped and moaned uncontrollably, panting against his neck as he overwhelmed all of your senses.
“Fuck you sound so pretty, baby. Keep going,” he urged as he grit his teeth, his jaw clenching as he fought to hold off.
“Jae,” you cried, your nails digging into his skin.
“I know, I know baby. Just let go for me,” he begged, sounding needier than ever as you finally released, exploding into him in a ball of light as you clutched at his back and trembled.
Jae let up on your clit and pounded away, extending your high, until your pussy throbbing around his cock finally pulled his climax too. A rush of warmth flooded through you and he pulled back to push you against the pillow, watching your jaw open and eyes glaze over before crashing his lips against yours.
You whimpered and held him close, legs still shaking at his sides. He brushed his fingers through your hair and sat up to pull himself out and watch it all drip down your thighs.
You blushed at the thought and curled against his chest when he laid back down. He ran his hand down your still-clothed spine, smiling against your forehead when you shivered into him.
He kissed your temple and breathed, “Worth it,” so quietly that it was barely audible.
“What was?” you hummed, sinking deeper into his embrace.
Jaeyoon didn’t answer at first and instead kissed you again before confessing, “Calling Lee Know’s boss and telling her there was a family emergency.”
You were glad you were against his chest, because your cheeks ached from how wide you smiled.

As much as Jaeyoon loved the glamour and sophistication of parties; the elegant outfits, expensive food and endless alcohol, he also got sick of them after a while. Such events always took away hours of the day, and you were rarely able to come with him. He was able to enjoy the first few hours, but by the halfway point, he just missed you. Call him clingy, but was it a crime for a husband to miss his wife?
He swore tonight he had never missed you more, especially as he felt his body ache from exhaustion on the way back from a brand event. His suit felt uncomfortable and itchy on his body and his tie practically strangled him. He couldn’t wait to get home to you and relax for a bit. He would’ve dozed off in the car if his body wasn’t so sore. He shouldn’t have pushed himself on his workout yesterday after his show.
But he knew you would know exactly where to massage to relax his muscles and work out all the knots. You didn’t let your masseuse license go to waste with a husband who was constantly overworking his body. Jaeyoon sometimes felt like he had won the lottery each time you magically cured whatever ailment was bothering him, easily saving him thousands of dollars on physiotherapists and regular massage appointments.
You, meanwhile, could brag about your most famous client. Your husband, who just so happened to also be a multi-platinum performer, one of the hottest acts for the last few years. His popularity had exploded after one of his singles from years ago had gone unexpectedly viral. Headlines, articles, interviews, stadium tours, performances at prestigious events; Jaeyoon’s life had been hectic for the last three years. He could barely catch a break.
You tried to not let it bother you how much he was away. It wasn’t like you lost contact with him. He was practically always FaceTiming you or texting you when he couldn’t call. Your gallery was full of selfies he had sent while on tour and he always brought you back gifts from each new country he toured in. It was never a lifestyle he could’ve imagined himself living, and you still struggled to believe it was real. But it was what life had thrown his way, and you would always be his biggest supporter.
Jaeyoon always closed the front door quietly, in case you were already in bed. Although it was unlikely you would even hear it if you were— his house was quite big and the upstairs bedroom was furthest away from the front door. He smiled at the sight of your shoes you had haphazardly kicked off whenever you came home from work. He picked them up to straighten them, along with a pair of your high heels you had worn to the last fancy event Jaeyoon had insisted you attended.
You stayed away from the press most of the year. Jaeyoon was quite private with your relationship despite the media never getting tired of asking him questions about it. He joked that he got more questions inquiring after you than his own upcoming album. You insisted he was exaggerating. Jaeyoon completely understood the media. You were unbelievably beautiful; of course his fans wanted to know everything about his gorgeous wife. He wasn’t inclined to tell, though, and always answered the questions vaguely with his signature dimpled grin. The fans were crazy for it.
Once his coat was hung up on the wreck and his tie finally loosened from his neck, he made his way upstairs quietly, expecting to find you either still working (for which he would scold you), or already tucked into bed. When he entered your shared bedroom, he found it to be neither, though. You stood in front of your mirror, carefully putting in a pair of silver earrings that Jaeyoon remembers buying for you on a trip weeks ago. Adorning your figure is a dark red satin dress, and as his eyes drift up to your face, he has to remind himself to breathe. Dark red lipstick that matched your dress and a slightly shimmering gold eyeshadow decorated your face. The blush on your cheeks was slight, but noticeable enough, and he could make out the highlights on the tip of your nose and cheekbones.
What in the world were you dressed up for at nearly 1AM?
“Darling…” Jaeyoon had meant to follow the nickname up with a question or sentence of some sort, but he found the words disappearing in his throat as you turned around at the sound of his voice.
“Hi love! How was the event?” You asked immediately, attention fully turning to him as you took steps towards him. Jaeyoon could barely remember where he had been the last few hours, his brain entirely fuzzy at the sight of you looking so breathtaking.
“Where did you get this dress?” His words were quiet, barely above a whisper. It was all he could manage to get out. You stifled a laugh at his question.
“I ordered it a while ago. It finally came this evening and I couldn’t wait to try it on. Do you like it?”
“You drive me insane,” he muttered, running a hand through his brown hair. That remark only earned him another laugh from you. You flung your arms around his neck and pulled him down to kiss his lips. It was short and only temporarily enough to satiate the racing of Jaeyoon’s heart. But he would be patient.
“Seriously, how was the party? You’ve been looking forward to this for months,” you tracked back to your previous question posed when your husband was unable to focus on finding the words to answer it. He sighed.
“Tiring. Really tiring. My neck and shoulders have been sore all day,” he complained, his lips pulling down in a soft pout— one that silently pleaded for you to work your magic on his aching muscles. You frowned in sympathy at how genuinely exhausted he looked.
“We can’t have that now, can we? Wash up first. You’ve been in that suit all day,” you instructed, removing his tie for him. He nodded, pecking your lips one more time before stumbling towards the bathroom. You heard the shower turn on minutes later and you smiled. He needed the reset. You’d said goodbye to him in the morning at 8 when he walked out the door. While he looked absolutely breathtaking in that dark red suit that fit him like a glove, you knew he must’ve gotten tired of wearing it after the first 5 hours.
Although he was often exhausted, the evenings when Jaeyoon came back from work were always your favourite time of day. You liked massaging the knots out of his tired body. You liked the quiet atmosphere you two created. You liked having him all to yourself with nothing work related to distract him like so often happened earlier in the day. With his busy schedule, time alone was rare to come by. You took everything you were able to get.
It wasn’t long before Jaeyoon laid stomach down on the bed, cheek squished against the pillow and a pout on his lips that was almost too cute for you to handle. You could easily feel exactly where his muscles were the tightest, and you worked on them gently at first.
In your many years of dating, you had seen Jaeyoon shirtless too many times to count. And while plenty of those times had made you blush and almost eat him whole with your gaze alone, it was a very different atmosphere than the one that hung over the room now. He was exhausted after giving all his energy to performances the entire week, and you were focused on relieving the pain that had worked up in his body. It definitely wasn’t a typical romantic moment, but there was some comfort in your smooth hands massaging his shoulders.
Jaeyoon was struggling to stay awake as you started to tell him about some anecdote of last week to distract from the light wincing that escaped his mouth whenever you dug into a particularly tight muscle. He knew you wouldn’t mind if he dozed off, and definitely wouldn’t stop massaging him until you had worked out every last kink— but he wanted to stay awake for a bit longer; if only to steal a few cuddles from you in your warm pyjamas that you had changed into.
The picture of you in your new red dress still played in his mind every few moments. He was already thinking about the next free day in his schedule. He would be a failure of a husband if he didn’t take you out on a date to appreciate the dress in its full glory. You had many glamorous gowns, but not many had taken his breath away quite like that one. He would certainly never take your beauty for granted, however many interview questions he dodged about you. His appreciation wasn’t to be displayed for the whole world to see. It was always in the quiet, most private moments that you felt the most loved by him. And that was how it would stay.
