I found your Tumblr as a Captain Swan fan and now I'm a fan of Kara and Mon El because of you! Thank you for introducing me to them. I'm interested in seeing how things go now that he's back... with a wife! What do you think of Reign? Did you see the preview for the next episode?

As far as where I see the story going… definitely towards Kara and Mon El slowly finding their way back to one another!
I think there is something hinky about the marriage and it’s not exactly what it seems, time will tell what’s going on there. Mon El displayed more concern over Supergirl, the most powerful person on earth, having her 1000th fight with an alien, than he did about his wife being in a coma after almost drowning in her pod that didn’t have adequate life support. I also love that you could clearly see the necklace chain at his collar in 3x08. Even after Kara confronted him about it the episode before, he’s STILL wearing that symbol of her. Me thinks someone is still desperately in love with Kara, but whatever is going on with the Legion necessitates his distance from her. If the marriage is real, my guess is that it’s a marriage of convenience, and while they probably like and respect one another, it’s not an in-love situation, so either way I’m not expecting a real, protracted love triangle. I’m hoping either Winn or J’onn have a frank conversation with Mon El and get us some answers next episode.
Poor Sad!Kara at the wedding, though. It was telling that Alex, who just broke up with Maggie went full tilt rebound, while Kara who has had 7 months was 100% in Miss Mopey mode. It sent a clear signal that while Alex and Maggie’s love story is over, Kara and Mon El’s is far from done. As for Alex, honestly, I used to call myself a S*anvers shipper, but since I couldn’t even look at Overgirl and OverArrow making out in the crossover, while in comparison I was fist pumping and cheering through Alex’s hook up with Sara Lance, I don’t think so anymore. If I truly shipped them that would have bothered me. So… I think I more liked that relationship because I thought Alex’s coming out story was beautiful, and I wanted her to be happy, and it wasn’t so much about Maggie, whom I found hard to like at times. Basically, I’m fully down for Alex to get a new lady love asap, and I thought Alex/Sara was the best part of the crossover.
Next episode looks like an important one, I have seen the trailer and I’m totally looking forward to Reign and the kind of evil she’ll bring. I’m wondering if Samantha will have a secret identity ala Kara for awhile and eventually be revealed as the villain? Or if we’ll know right away. I’m also psyched to see what happens between Lena and James this episode, the description about a possible “spark” lighting between them was intriguing.
While the first 6 episode of S3 felt like filler/set up, the back half of the season looks full steam ahead. I’m looking forward to it.
