I was thinking about Oblivion's backstory, so… something short. He was abandoned at the Open Hand Temple as a newborn. because he inherited his great-grandfather's devil blood. But a creature bound to darkness would have no place among the priests of Ilmater. Sharran Fidelian Kaliya took him away when he was five and he's been growing up in a Cloister of Sombre Embrace ever since. He was the first, then others appeared: young Nocturne and Shadowheart. Since their arrival, as an older child, he considered himself responsible for them.Darkness is his homeland, serving is his meaning of life. Was Oblivion jealous that he wasn't Shar's favorite? Sure. But he suppressed this feeling, becoming the shadow of the Chosen One. A witness to whether she will rise or fall.
