blitz and monika are the same in my mind except like. obviously different. now hold on. hold on. the two novahot deckers of dragonfall who are shown to be kinda arrogant. lets be honest. monika was kind of arrogant or atleast something of the sort.
the line “There's a thin line between concern and insubordination.” always kinda rubbed me the wrong way. if im honest. it always just seemed kinda... mean? its never sat right with me. but! shes a novahot decker whos got the personality to match- its wild. for an anarchist? monika REALLY likes order.. luckystrike had a point tbh. but- back on track. blitz is a novahot decker who gets ahead of himself and can tend to be a little arrogant- the difference between blitz and monika is that while monika went against the ideals she was all for in the flux state- being an anarchist system. blitz is a former ganger- where that hierarchy makes sense, its never implied he is an anarchist- he wanted to get the hell out that hotel. i get it.
what i mean when i say. that blitz and monika are extremely similar i mean both the obvious- being cocky novahot deckers. im also talking about the fact that they create a hierarchy. monika is a leader, she believes in a system that is against what shes still upholding, chief knows your the boss. by default. where the rest of the crew obv treats you like their boss bc of the whole vault thing where monika put you in charge, blitz doesn't know that- he creates a hierarchy. maybe from observing what you do through the hotel- but that's a but insane to infer, little bit of a stretch but i could probably get it- still, they create a hierarchy. with monika it has a different sort of implication? i guess? its a subconscious hierarchy- yaddah yaddah. with blitz it could very well be because thats what hes used to, or something else.
idk. i havent rambled on about something in a hot minute regarding sr so hopefully this makes sense! uh, theres probably a few more points i could make like their thing with the Schockenwellenreiter- but thats not exactly very important to it as a whole- anyways! thats the post ^_^!
