I like to think there's an IRL cult of TKiY. They made the Minecraft world. Tobias is now the favorite as he's still alive after seeing the King. They send him stuff in the mail.
TKiY is very interested in Tobias now. It's like cuteness aggression. This is its favorite human. Look at him. He's extortionary pathetic right now but he's its favorite. It shows up in Tobias' dreams and is like "Hi :)"

They started as a fling that slowly bloomed into something more. They're unsure what to refer to their relationship as, but they know they do love and care about each other, and do see each other as more than just something sexual. If actually asked though, they'll sometimes say they're dating, but other times they'll just say they're together.
Their first date was a walk together in the snow one morning after they spent a night together.
Liu sometimes will tell Jack about how he wished he met him earlier in life, and how he wouldn't have hesitated to run away from his family with Jeff if he knew there was someone out there who would be as caring as Jack always is to him.
Because of Jeff and Jack somewhat being friends before Liu and Jack got together, Jeff was horrified to find out about it and rushed to talk to Jack about it. Jack responded by avoiding Jeff as much as possible for days by hiding whenever he came around or just plainly ignoring him and refusing to talk to him. He said that he heard Jeff in the walls at night. While it was frustrating for Jeff, it was hilarious for the rest of the Refuge because Jack is a giant demon hiding from a scrawny 19-year-old he could snap in half.
Jeff eventually warms up to the two but was very petty about it for a while.
Jane and Mary were pretty supportive of Liu and Jack's relationship, and were more so surprised by Liu being in a relationship, as both of them thought Liu wasn't interested in that kind of thing. They try to be respectful though, and while they don't see Jack often, they're pretty civil with him.
Lulu was unfazed by their relationship, and was the one to decide to leave them be the first night they got together. She doesn't mind Liu all that much, as long as Liu treats Jack well.
Liu and Jack's attachment styles are both avoidant.
Liu and Jack often say they taught each other how to love, since Liu had never been in a good relationship before and was always too scared to try, while Jack felt he didn’t know how to love because he wasn’t human.
Liu sometimes helps Jack learn how to act human and what it means to be human.
Liu is dead silent when he does actually get sleep and will not move, and will even breathe so quietly that Jack used to get worried he was dead when he slept.
Jack has Liu's mannerisms pretty memorized and always is able to pick up when Liu is uncomfortable or nervous.
In Liu's DnD campaign that he runs sometimes at the Refuge, EJ originally helped out by playing one of the one-off antagonists in one of the sessions, a mute creature in the woods that attacks the party. The party ended up befriending him though, leading to Jack joining for every session.
Jack is the big spoon, though he's a very light sleeper and often will wake up any time Liu moves at all to check if Liu is okay.
Whenever Jack cuddles with Liu, he's always tense because he doesn't want to accidentally put his full weight on him.
Jack and Liu prefer small expressions of affection, and aren't big on PDA. A protective hand on the other's knee or an arm around the waist or a subtle look is enough for them.
Jack will kiss along Liu's scars.
Jack is a great listener, and will always listen to Liu talk about his interests, especially Dungeons and Dragons. He doesn't quite always understand what Liu is talking about but tries to, and listens regardless.
Jack is pretty protective of Liu but he does everything in his power not to show it. But if need be, he will stand up for Liu or at least intimidate any threat to them. Oftentimes if anybody upsets Liu or threatens him, Jack won't say anything and will just physically stand in front of Liu until the person leaves. If they still try to do anything though, Jack will attack them.
Despite Jack being big and scary, Liu feels safest around him than around anyone else.
EJ is much taller than Liu, which Liu finds rather attractive due to Liu being 6 feet tall and never usually meeting many people taller than him.
EJ has an apron Liu made him to help with their cooking journey.
Jack once tried to give Liu a rose as a gift, but since Liu is allergic, he immediately started sneezing. Jack panicked and just ate the rose. It did not taste good and Jack had to spit it back out into the snow but Liu appreciated the sentiment. Because of this interaction though, Jack is particularly mean towards roses he sees and will stomp on any rose he sees.
Liu calls Jack "babe", "darling", and "heavenly". Jack calls Liu “love”, "dear", and "rosebud". They only call each other these in private though.
They have matching nicknames for each other. Jack calls Liu "beautiful" and Liu calls Jack "handsome".
Jack enjoys wearing some of Liu's jewelry and scarves, and sometimes borrows his clothes for when Liu isn't staying at the Refuge.
When Liu first saw Jack outside the Refuge, he didn't recognize him at first because Jack was wearing his mask. Liu tried to shoot at Jack, but missed thankfully. He felt horrible after Jack took off the mask. Jack was bitter about it for weeks.
