Have you ever seen the "likes" Sue Vertue gives in her Twitter? She liked a tweet that says something like: "John watson deserves more than Sherlock, I don't understand why people ship them"...I mean... what the f**k?!?! Oh, and Louis Moffat, he does the same thing. He liked a tweet with a looong letter of an anti-johnlock. How do you interpret that? Why they do those things? WHY. :(

I actually haven’t, since I’m rarely on Twitter and follow 0% of the Sherlock creators / cast / crew. Honestly, I wouldn’t really look much into it. I mean, there was also Mark who mocked a Johnlocker with “RIP” and Steven shoots down the ship any chance he gets. Honestly, they can’t take Johnlock away from me. If they never wanted such a big Johnlock core following, maybe they shouldn’t have made the show so gay. *shrugs* But I digress.

I’ll be blunt with ya, Nonny: don’t look to much into it, you’ll only drive yourself nuts. But yeah, I’m not surprised to be honest; it feels like TPTB like making not just Johnlockers but fans feel like they’re silly for liking their show... which boggles my mind because we’re the ones who spend insane amounts of money on their stuff. *shrugs*

As someone who completely adores the whole Sherlock series, loves the fandom & who is queer themselves. I am so hurt by the interview, the lgbtq+ community already do not receive enough representation, so to have people disregard any hope that there will be is quite disrespectful. representation in any shape or form is what the community needs right now & this whole situation honestly makes me so sad and wipes any hope that things could get better for the community.

you and i and many other folks are in the same boat. it’s not just that johnlock won’t be canon, it’s the fact they tried to make us feel ‘bad’ for wanting it. well i refuse to feel guilty or lesser than for wanting to see major characters as canon LGBT. esp if they don’t get buried! here’s to a renewed focus on fandom!

fandom is fully of beauty, grace, brilliance, and love love love love!

I know its probably unfair of me to ask since im sure i could find it on my own, but even reading the discourse is exhausting me, and i don't want to go through a bunch of interviews just to find it. Okay listen Z, I'm seeing what u are saying, and I do agree. Forget about the show. Focus on this, luv : 1)The friends you've made through the fandom. 2)The Fanfic you've read and loved, and kept as your own personal headcannons. (1 of 2)

3)The gorgeous Fanarts of all kinds that we, the Fandom produced. They can screw us over however they want. We are minorities, we've all survived worse. No matter what happens in canon, what we created was beautiful. They can't take that. Luv u. xo

a good reminder friend. tht’s what’s kept me here. the fans, i love the fans with every piece of my heart. which is why the creators hurt me deep. they insulted my friends and myself. i will try my hardest to focus on the good stuff these amazing fans have created. maybe now’s a good time to do another giveaway!

Even with what thoses arses said in interviews, you can at least still enjoy watching our favorite detectives fall in love with one another from start to end. <3 Love you!

true, but they made it seem like this was going to be romantic love. which is why their words were so hurtful. it wasn’t enough for them to just say, “no that’s not the plan” and leave it at that. oh no, they had to insult us and try to tell us the way we enjoy something is wrong. and as someone who gets told that A LOT irl, ouch. i love you too frond and thanks for making my heart a little bit lighter. i vry much appreciate you!

i'm at the point where i'm ignoring everything, all press, all interviews. i'll watch when new episodes are released, but i don't want to become utterly soured on sherlock before it's even released, and staying up to date has been making me bitter.

that is an idea...hmm.... i don’t know if it’s possible on tumblr tho. esp with my insatiable curiosity. i will def think about that option tho, thank you!!
