me and sana (@kuunio) met during the UA entrance exam briefing, and stuck together during the exam itself. all i can say is she got carried and now we're friends!
izuku is a super friendly guy, so it's no surprise we became friends real fast! he introduced me to ochako, tenya and shouto. we like to study together, but we usually just end up gossiping. yes, tenya included and he KNOWS a lot.
me and katsuki did not start off on a good foot, quite literally, since i stepped on his during the entrance exam and he yelled at me, so i had to yell back. i ended up sitting right behind him and eijirou in class, which was the perfect opportunity to bother him. as time passed i became really close with both, katuski included ever since he confided in me about his super secret cursh on izuku... ✧ THE KEY TO PANDORA'S BOX
Pandora's "box" is actually a jar.
Nevertheless, the functions of both objects do not differ from one another. After all, they both serve the same purpose; to hide, to contain.
In this story, what lies within the jar is neither malfeasance nor disease. As a matter of a fact, the forbidden fruit is actually an art, the transformation of dust into gold.
Alchemy, or in Gisele's case Khemia which reaches beyond the confines of paltry metals and dares to waltz with the very foundation of life itself. Khemia which traces its origins as far as the battered nation of Khaenr'iah.
Khemia, the art that combines both salvation and destruction, renewal and devastation. A blasphemous act veiled by the oscillation of both a profound sanctity and disregard for life.
Nowadays, many assume that it's lost to time itself, withered down by centuries of disarray yet she found and revitalized it once more. In her 3rd year, Gisele stumbled upon a stack of papers and one fraying scroll wrote about the art of Khemia. At the time, she just wanted to complete her alchemy essay yet it was the very encounter which led her to reach astronomical alchemical heights in earth as she questioned her humanity.
Creation after creation was brought to life alongside mechanical entities. Maddened by the desire to discover and remake, she spent hours upon hours in an isolated room below the castle, with only her wand, shelves of books and a candle to keep her company.
To covet was to sin. To create and sustain artificial life is an act of defiance against the creed of the heavens. Yet the delineation between virtue and sin remains undetermined therefore with each project, regardless of its success or failure, Gisele sets her eyes onto something grander, bolder.
And the sin she sought to create was what drew the infamous Knights to her in the first place.
... Backstory crumbs
Before the banishment of the three moons and the ascension of the heavenly spectre, there existed a basin of primordial seawater .Blessed by the sisters whose existence predated that of the funerary year itself, it's waters tainted by residual fragments from the moon.
Gradually, time has worn the body of water down to it's last drop and it remained that way for a century until the now deceased Mistress of many waters sensed something rather unusual. Immediately noticing a rather sickly looking droplet, she carefully scooped it up and meticulously placed it into a vial.
What Egeria failed to account for was the fact that the droplet was sentient and would've been mobile had they not been confined to a shrivelling patch of grass. Sooner or later, the vial disappeared from Egeria's grasp and tumbled into the hands of the Universitas magistorium who commissioned the best alchemists with haste in order to extract the sentience from the droplet.
Unsurprisingly, the endeavor failed miserably and they just resorted to embedding the droplet into a body made of metal and flesh. Then, she became known as a vessel that could grow but never decay.
During the cataclysm, the droplet was sent away from Teyvat and subsequently, descended into the abyss before landing on earth. Soon, she was taken in by a family in Hong Kong and there began her life away from the continent she once called home.
One day when the lights cascaded down the mahogany walls of her room, she saw a letter sitting alongside a feather so radiant and pure she almost mistaken it for snow.
It never snowed in Hong Kong before.
