As 2026 enters (It's now New Year on my end), I would like to say that thank you for staying with me through the good and bad times of my life.
(Long rambling under the cut)
2025 was a roller coaster, full of ups and downs. I believe it wasn't my best year despite the good things happened from the first few months. College had a toll on me physically, emotionally, and mentally as it gave me an eye opener from a person who never stepped foot in a prestigious school with high standards on their students, especially those who are in medical courses. It tested my patience, my time management, and my mental state, and I was stumbling and falling with each step. I cried, I struggled, I felt like giving up.
I kept locking in, but ending up miserable from how poor I was performing and felt like I have disappointed those who have expected so much from me and those who kept reminding me that I can do it because I'm smart. However, it's not always about the bad stuff that happened in 2025. I got many achievements that I didn't think that I could achieve. I got to give my salutations in front of many people, made new friends from both classroom and the Red Cross youth organization I joined, got to hang out with my best friends frequently, visiting my old school to catch up with the others, and getting to chat and interact with people here and out.
I may not be that active a lot recently, but just know that I appreciate your presence in my life and I am very thankful about it. You made my year manageable despite I'm at my lowest. For those who went to converse with me, who lend an ear to listen, or just there to talk to, thank you for understanding me without judging me or degrade me. I will never take those for granted.
I will keep my expectations low as first thing to do in this year as I don't want to end up being disappointed again. I want to improve my habits and ways academically and as a person. I will try to manage my time properly this time, learn new things big or small, and slowly start to love myself after years of struggling to do any self love or appreciation of myself. Let this year bring full of opportunities, prosperity, guidance, and protection from harm and danger.
With that being said, Happy New Year to all of you and hope you enjoy this wonderful occasion with your families and friends or your own 🎉✨
Seeing the cutscene of Reckoning from Bo6 and the different iteration of the boys (They still look similar to their Primis counterpart), I am rolling on the floor that they released this 2 days before my damn college starts :'>
It's kinda weird to experience having a Mental Health Break in college cause I've been in a school where MHB doesn't exist due to the scheduling of each s.y. and how the pandemic affected the sudden change of modality. Aside from that, no one even suggested to have a mental health break in the first place so I find mine in shambles.
I think I should take this opportunity, maybe a few hours or 2 days will do as I need to study for my 4 day Midterms exams because my Prelim grades were a bit of a 50/50, specially my two major subjects that barely survived. But hey, at least I get to experience it after years of not having a much needed break
I was just dying and rotting slowly with all the schoolworks weighing on my poor shoulders and with a blink of an eye... I'm now graduating this Wednesday...
