Okay, yesternight a ship name for Ilmo & Saga came to me in a dream super randomly

What about SeerKnight or KnightSeer, referring to Ilmo being a Kalevala Knight and Saga being a Seer/having the Mind Place gift 👀

Masquerade Ball AU

Yuri is currently being an idiot and doing the completely wrong thing right now. So we know that masquerade Eli event card right?

I question why I haven't seen any fics or headcanons about a masquerade ball in general, but people have their own lives and they can't do everything

So, let's try it out!

General summary:

Eli, Maki and Kotori are at a masquerade ball hosted only for the rich

But suddenly the ball is taken over by a group of criminals

The criminals demand a high ransom and other valuables

Otherwise, they will kill all the guests in a wide-spread explosion

The ultimatum is refused and enraged, the criminals press the button to explode the ballroom

But for some reason, the ballroom doesn't blowup, but rather the fountain in front of the mansion does

During the confusion of the explosion, three masked characters jump behind the criminals and knock them out

They only get seen by Eli, Maki and Kotori before they jump out of the window, with part of the feast that had been prepared for the ball

Characters:

Ayase Eli:

Daughter of a very rich noble

Due to overprotective parents, rarely left the house, and when she did, she always wore a mask

Does not have any friends except for Maki and Kotori

They grew up in the same situation as her

Cold to others because her parents made her believe that everyone was dangerous and out to get her

Gets curious of the Street Rat Trio after they break into the ball to steal food

Sneaks out with Maki and Kotori to visit them, but very rarely

Nishikino Maki:

Daughter of a rich clinician

Due to overprotective parents, locks her in her bedroom and forces her to study medical practices for taking over her family business

Only friends with Eli and Kotori

Everyone else practically kisses up to her

Sees anyone else as peasants and annoyances as she didn't really have a lot of experience socializing as well as her father brainwashing her to think that the clinic is the most powerful place in the world

Won't show it, but is interested in the Street Rat Trio

Sneaks out often with Kotori, will have a first aid kit on hand just in case

Minami Kotori:

Daughter of a duke and duchess

Due to overprotective parents, is constantly accompanied by a bodyguard, a butler, a maid or someone with the family's trust

Despite the isolation, is very kind and sweet

But can't really make friends because she can tell they are only out for money

So EliMaki are practically her personal guard dogs

Really really really wants to meet the Street Rat Trio

Will always show up with sweets and food that she made

Kousaka Honoka:

A Street Rat

Leader of the Street Rat Trio, tries to get the others to call her Lord Honoka

Only succeeds with Rin

Grew up in the streets,

Made friends with Umi

They caused a lot of trouble, especially hunting for food

They pick up Rin because she kept following them

Helps out with the others sometimes for free food

Even though she doesn't have a lot, she's always willing to share and has a big heart

Sonoda Umi:

A Street Rat

The Muscle and the Brains of the Street Rat Trio

Honoka nicknames her Samurai Umi

Gets bashed in the head for that

Was left orphaned

But she doesn't remember anything

Made friends with Honoka

They made a lot of trouble, but it was mostly Honoka's fault

Picks up Rin because she kept following them

Helps Honoka out a lot, especially when they are delivering Nico's groceries to customers

Don't underestimate Umi with a stick

Way too mature for her age, awkward, but nice

Hoshizora Rin:

A Street Rat

The Speed of the Street Rat Trio

Is either called Ninja Rin or NyaRin

Prefers NyaRin over Ninja Rin for some reason

Ran away from abusive foster parents

Saw Honoka and Umi finding food and then sharing it with others

Felt like they were her mother and father

Kept following them until they picked her up

Known for running around a lot

Helps the most by really quickly stealing food from arrogant food vendors

Energetic, and a bundle of joy

Just don't make her cry, you will face HonoUmi's wrath

Toujou Nozomi:

A fortune teller

Is often seen in the alleyway right next to Nico's grocery store

Often is bothering her

Sometimes gives fortunes to the Street Rats for free

Admired by Rin for seeming so motherly

Nico disagrees with that strongly

Yazawa Nico:

A grocery store owner

Although sharp-tongued and sarcastic, is actually really nice and caring

The Street Rats remind her of her younger siblings

So she gives them work to go and deliver groceries to customers in exchange for food and sometimes shelter depending on the weather

Is trying to found any plausible way to get rid of Nozomi from the alleyway next to her

Koizumi Hanayo:

A farmer

Is the main source of produce for Nico

Famous for having the most delicious fruits and vegetables

Very meek and shy, not used to visitors

Gets Rin to help her out in exchange for her vegetable ramen

If anyone noticed, I didn't really do a lot of furious shipping in this. I thought that it would be fun to see who would get paired up with who. So based on interactions, possible ship pairings are: HonoEli, EliUmi, EliRin, HonoMaki, MakiUmi, RinMaki, KotoHono, KotoUmi, KotoRin, HonoUmi, HonoRin, UmiRin, NozoNico, RinPana, MakiPana(I could probably add more to them later, but this is what I have so far) Well, NozoNico is sorta established here, but all the others aren't. So yea, this is Yuri being complete useless trash and not doing her work
