4. Did you discover any new authors that you love this year?

yes! i really enjoyed the writing styles of Lev Grossman and Naomi Novik. I'm not super drawn to any of Grossman's other existing novels but I'll be keeping an eye on future releases for sure, because The Bright Sword was delightful.

11. What was your favorite book that has been out for a while, but you just now read?

i've been meaning to read the Temeraire books by Naomi Novik since I was in high school and only just got around to it! currently reading the second one and having a blast. i love you dragons + age of sail...
