YEEEAAH BABY BOY DRAWN
Thank you!!! It’s like, yeah, I completely understand the need to destigmatize body features and to promote neutrality but like… historically speaking? Society DOES favor certain features over others and that’s important to recognize even if you disagree with it, imo. Of course, exactly which features are favored changed based on things such as culture, location, time period… like, I was a kid in the late 90s / early 00s and I don’t doubt that, had I grown up a little later, I probably wouldn’t have been bullied the way I was because beauty standards have changed a bit since then. But like, it’s pretty obvious people change certain features of established characters to make them more appealing to them and pointing that out is definitely not the same as going “hey I find those features unappealing myself”.
Like, I was talking about male characters myself but this effect is much more visible in female characters when they’re drawn by certain artists. Some people straight up can’t draw characters unless they make them attractive for their own standards! Like, if you search for fanart of say… Mei from Overwatch, a character who’s canonically chubby, you’ll be buried in art of her having her usual breast size but a tiny waist instead. Same thing with Zarya, who’s canonically very muscular but is often drawn much less so.
And remember the whole thing with the Hex Maniac trainer from Pokémon? I didn’t know that she canonically has small breasts in her in-game artwork for the longest time because every single fan art I’ve seen of her had her with big boobs instead.
Hugging you hugging you hugging you!!!Ultimately, though, I guess having people you never talked to come out of the woodworks to interpret something you wrote in the worst way possible is like, just How It Is Online. I’ll never forget that one time here when I said in the most obviously lighthearted tone possible that Tom Nook had a crush on K.K. Slider and someone straight up accused me of “being a pervert who wants to see them fuck”.
You got me into Plastic Man, and I want to thank you for it. He's super rad!
im touched. im glad to bring more people into the depths of interests with me. Neverr thought i'd be thanked for it though. Glad to see another person in arms!
Not really, not with what's going on...
shrapnelstars replied to your post “On the one hand, I would very much like to see @therealjacksepticeye...”
Apparently, LoF2 plays the way it does because the devs were responding to criticism about the way the first game worked.
Really? That’s unfortunate, because I thought the first game was actually really really good.
I had a greaser dream the other night after browsing your blog. I was helping a guy fix his motorcycle in this old barn or something. He was casually smoking and Goody Two Shoes by Adam Ant was playing in the background for some reason. You have blessed my dreams with your content.
Good, that's a sign the metamorphosis is beginning-
1! :3
Thank you!!!
1. When did you realize you liked overweight people?
I think it was… right when I started getting crushes on people, haha! So… when I was around 11 or 12? I’m attracted to a wide range of body types and I think this has always been the case, but I’ve always had a bit of a preference for chubbier people as well.
Feeder Q&A!
In the new custom night teaser, Rockstar Bonnie and new!Springtrap are right on top of each other. It really looks like William got some kind of Golden Rockstar Bonnie head to use. The structure is very comparable, I think. Do you think that was an intentional clue?
They’re fairly similar, but I don’t think it means anything. William’s new fursuit head has fur and a soft texture to it, not plastic.
