I got rejected... and it’s the best thing in the world????

IM SO HAPPY RIGHGT NOW AUGH

i was so anxious??? for so long?? ABOUT GETTING REJECTED and just.. not being ok??? and wallowing in my feelings?? and getting hurt???

but everytime i saw her, I was ... emotionally exhausted from liking her and just shutting up about it around her and I TOLD HER today after planning it out

it felt like the right moment when I did. she asked me a question and I was anxious and I just... said

“I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable, and I don’t want this to affect our relationship... I have a crush on you. I like you romantically. I understand if it’s not mutual, but I thought it would be best to tell you. Because I really value our friendship.”

and she said she doesn’t feel the same way, and that she’s glad I told her and that it won’t be weird between us and instead of feeling upset like i thought i would...

I WAS REALLY HAPPY? AND RELIEVED???

IM JUST REALLY EUPHORIC AND HAPPY RIGHT NOW

i’m so thankful that it was so simple and easy and that I’m okay and that WE are okay and that we are JUST AS close as we were before and that won’t change 

and I’m just really happy and thankful (to God too, for making it so easy for me? and having the honestly best outcome??? SO THANKFUL)

and yes. that’s the end of those shenanigans. XD Surprisingly, I will be LESS MOPEY and angsty after being rejected lmao
