           Jia Chongis rather fond of Cao Chong. He respects Cao Chong’s intelligence and believesCao Chong to be quite able, even at such a young age. He has no doubt that hewill make an excellent heir to the throne. Jia Chong does not mind serving CaoChong and is prepared to carry out his will, whatever that may entail.

           Jia Chongalso appreciates Cao Chong’s insightfulness and cleverness. He likes taking astep back and seeing what Cao Chong will do since, from Jia Chong’sperspective, Cao Chong has his own way of doing things. However, should CaoChong need him, he will be right there to handle the situation.

           There aretimes that Jia Chong thinks Cao Chong’s heart is too kind, which Jia Chongknows can cause a rift between him. Still, he is willing to be Cao Chong’s ironfist when needed.

     It was happening again. Heavens it was happening again. One moment he finds stability and in the next the earth is torn from under him. This place was supposed to be a haven from the warring outside and yet the conflict seemed to seep from men’s hearts.

     Cao Cao was not in Xu city at present. His officer Liu Bei had declared rebellion with several others, including Dong Cheng, the father of his beloved consort. The uncle to his unborn child. Whispers circulated that the young Emperor himself had given the order for Cao Cao’s assassination. Lies. Cao Cao had denounced them as such, and yet reports came of Liu Bei’s claims. Perhaps, the damaged boy in him wonders, it was Cao himself who gave the order.

     So many had been killed. All of Dong Cheng’s family, as well as the others, and his dear Consort was next. The child was due in a matter of weeks, and yet Cao Cao would not be swayed. It is with desperation that he searches for Cao Chong. The boy who had rescued so many from his father’s wrath. His friend - ( dare he call him that? he did not. not aloud. never aloud in this place. ) A truly good soul among those that circled about the Emperor like vultures about a premature calf.

     Wild eyed and pallid, he is prepared to beg. “There must be something you can do.”

Cao Cao is a man of honor and virtue, and obviously kills the spider for his wife. And he makes a big deal out of it too, like ‘ I am a noble man, and I shall defend your honor by vanquishing this spider. Feel my wrath, puny arachnid.’ ( im paraphrasing, obviously ) Huan finds it ridiculous, but it makes her laugh so he keeps doing it.

Technically, Cao Cao proposed to her dad. Huan had very little say in the matter, but she couldn’t have asked for better. As far as proposals go, Cao Cao had the best offer. Yuandao knew that even if she wasn’t first wife, she’d be provided for.

Surprisingly enough, Huan kissed him first. She took initiative on their wedding night lmao, and kissed him when he removed the veil. It was a really really tiny kiss, and she was painfully shy but it was still a KISS LMAO.

Cao Cao, usually. Even if she initiated things on their wedding night, she’s still sort of too shy to really push things. Like she loves him, but she’s still a dork.

In any of her other marriages, usually it’d be Huan BUT SHE ACTUALLY LIKES CAO CAO SO IDEALLY, NEITHER WOULD LEAVE.

Huan has never been a jealous person, and there’s no one around her for Cao Cao to be jealous off, so I don’t think either of them would really have a problem with jealousy.

Technically, compared to all the feats Cao Cao’s achieved, Huan is lazier. She does work, yes, but it’s nothing more than watching her children, embroidering and arranging flowers. So while they both do stuff, Cao Cao does more. So... technically Huan?

Again, Cao Cao. He’s been married several time and has like 90 kids, here as Huan’s only had the one husband and the three children.

Huan did, actually. It was a really spurr of the moment confession, and they were both surprised to hear it but it was mutual.
