His name is Ash and he's my 14yo's ESA. My 14yo that keeps trying to kill himself. He's hanging on by a thread, making Ash here the most important cat in the world.

Ash was rushed to the vet this morning with a bladder obstruction. You should have seen the x-ray his poor bladder was so distended. They got the obstruction out and via catheter his bladder is now empty. Out came grit (urinary crystals) and blood including clots.

I can not let this cat die. I have a reasonable mother's fear I'll lose my human baby too if we do. This cat needs to live forever.

This cat also needs a few days of hospitalization to push fluids to help work everything through his bladder. His bloodwork is shit they need to get those numbers better. He needs IV and catheter for a few days.

I've already paid for today's 1000$ vet visit and getting the obstruction out. I have the first 24hrs of hospitalization covered. But it's another 1500$ to monitor and make sure he's ok. And it's the rest of it that i just....

I need help. I need charity. I need a miracle.

I generally despise donation posts, but at this point I’m desperate.

My cat has been throwing up for several days now and despite trying to be diligent about recommended monitoring procedures going forward, she’s continued to throw up, and has been suffering from lethargy and low appetite for a couple of days. She has been unable to keep any food down, and has even shown less interest in her favorite treats.

The tests the vet recommended are going to cost thousands of dollars, and I’ve had to visit the emergency vet for rescuing fluids. Anything you can give helps.

This little lady is doing very very bad and needs medical attention. She has worsening ataxia and lethargy. I don't think she'll make it through this weekend. My best guess is systemic toxoplasmosis.

We are at the animal hospital now. I have $18 to my name, so not sure what's going to happen.

❤️‍🩹 Help Needed for Vet Bills ❤️‍🩹

My elderly cat Rory is very sick with FVR, which is basically a terrible flu that can lay dormant in a cat’s system until it randomly flairs up. It started around Christmas time, and I’ve tried every possible avenue to get my sick cat to the vet for antibiotics, antivirals and other medications. He’s 14 years old and has become very weak, he’s no longer eating—I’ve been syringe feeding him—he’s lost about 35% of his body weight already, he’s extremely ill and I’m in desperate need of help.

I’ve attempted to get personal loans, PetCard finances and find vets with payment plays or deferred payment options. Instead I’ve literally had vets shout at me and hang up, I have no idea how veterinarians can so cruel, it makes no sense.

I’ve been told I’m too poor to meet the threshold for any type of financial help to pay for my cat’s treatment, yeah, that’s right, I’m too poor for programs made to help the poor. Apparently you need to make at least 21k a year, that’s considered poor. Unfortunately I make far below that which is considered impoverished, therefore they don’t think I’m able to pay back any money lended to me.

So now I’m coming to the last place I know, the internet. I don’t want to start up a GoFundMe because they take a large percentage of the funds raised and at this point, I need every penny for my poor old guy. I don’t know how many hundreds of dollars this will cost, even just to get in the door of a local vet’s office will cost hundreds.

Note: he is extremely ill in this picture as you can see; he has conjunctivitis in his left eye, nasal congestion, mouth ulcers and swelling which is what is leading to his anorexia. His hip bones, spine and the top of his skull can be seen and felt, whereas as recently as a few weeks ago he was a sweet cubby old man. He’s dealing with extreme lethargy and confusion, he can drink bits of water on his own but I’ve been syringe feeding him kitten milk, because of its high vitamin and mineral content it can be used a meal supplement for adult cats. I’m hoping he won’t need an NG tube for feeding, because that will be even more expensive.

Hi there 👋 I just wanted to ask if maybe you or any of your followers ever had a kitty diagnosed with IBD? If anyone has anything they can share about their experience or any tips? been a lot we’ve been going through since he was diagnosed a couple weeks ago and things are finally looking up so just wanted to maybe hear about anyone who had success with treatments also!
