Today has been a stressful day! Mama and her babies weren't doing so hot with their regular foster, and Mama was feeling stressy, so on Wednesday we got this sweet little family back. Other than being a bit underweight, everyone was doing fine. Until last night. Two of the babies have diarrhea and today have stopped eating and dropped weight. We've got them on meds, I'm forcing a bottle on them so they can get something in their bellies, and I've given them both fluids to keep hydrated. Luckily, they both seemed to perk up a bit after fluids and went to try to nurse with mama instead of just snuggle.
