I want more about the unnamed girlies in Tolkien's world and their silly drama. Not just the ones who were remembered for their valor or greatness.
I want to read about the women (besides Indis) whose eyebrows raised when Finwë became single again.
I want stuff about all the Elven maidens who were silly over Fëanor and tried to get his attention because he was like a celebrity Elf, super hot and strong and skilled and desirable. And the gossip and the sulking some of them must have done when he chose Nerdanel.
I want storylines about the girls whose hearts fluttered at the bad boy sons of Fëanor, the secret yearnings they harbored just like the girls in modern fiction who fall for the unattainable, unpredictable boys. And the girls who thought they were better than the others because they were "above" falling for those Fëanorian charms.
I want a peek into the rooms of artistic young Elf maidens whose walls were plastered with sketches of Glorfindel, of Fingon, of Finrod, of Celebrimbor - sketches that these poor, wonderful, unassuming men were blissfully unaware of.
And let's not forget the girls whose "hear me out's" are Túrin, Maeglin, or even a Man - or worse yet, a Dwarf!
I want to hear about girls of Middle Earth whose idols were Galadriel and Melian, who practiced trying to sing like Luthien. The girlies who never saw Valinor but want to know how to Valar did their hair. The ones on into the Third Age who brag that their dresses are styled like the ones Arwen of Imladris wears, and their petty friends who "accidentally" spill wine on said dresses because they're jealous. The ones who get together and try to figure out how to make Lembas and end up making a colossal mess instead.
Just give me more everyday girl escapades!
