So I finally watched Penguinronpa: The Last Christmas

Thoughts and opinions with spoilers under the cut, so proceed with caution if you haven't seen the special yet.

IT'S THE BEST SPECIAL EVER! 😭✨

I still need to watch that special after my speedrun of all of Penguinronpa during my last week of vacation in January before returning to university, and now that I've seen it IT HAS EARNED ITS PLACE IN MY HEART ❤️‍🩹

It's a chaotic, very emotional special, but above all, it feels like one of those comforting specials from your favorite shows that you watch when you're sad, and I really needed that lately. Skip and Jeff definitely stole the show, but the other characters also had their moment to shine.

And art reached the very top, I mean, LOOK AT THIS CINEMA

For some reason, this single image reaffirmed my love for Club Penguin: chaotic, nonsensical, and goofy, it's perfect

My favorite part of all was bullying Skip for a whole hour and a half, because bullying Skip should be the law, YOU FREAK I LOVE YOU

And last but not least, I ended up showing the vast majority of my reactions on the Penguinronpa Discord server, and it was a blast; I always love being able to share my hyperfixations with others, so if any server member who was reading my reactions last night is now reading this, thank you for joining me ❤️‍🩹

So I finally watched Penguinronpa...

Some thoughts under the cut with SPOILERS (and a second version of the doodle) so don't look beyond here if you don't want to ruin your experience.

Does anyone know where I can get therapy after all that? Nobody knows? Oh, man...

Okay, but seriously, what a great show, I'm a huge fan of these kinds of mysteries, and gradually discovering who was going to d!e next and who the k!ller was was fascinating, in addition to how the story unfolded as the chapters progressed, I myself have my own writing skills and I really enjoy it when a story becomes so captivating.... BUT IT HURT ME... A LOT

A friend of mine accidentally spoiled it for me months ago that it was Sensei who k!lled Aunt Arctic at the beginning, but I didn't expect him to end up with the same fate, AND AS A HUGE FAN OF SENSEI, THAT'S GOING TO HURT ME FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE 😭

And Klutzy... why, bro? SOMEONE BRING KLUTZY BACK TO LIFE, PLEASE

This has been the craziest week of my life. I'm grateful to my friends who recommended (forced) me to watch this, but I will personally take them to trial in the Box Dimension for causing me so much suffering

Anyway, as I write this, it's the day Chapter 6 Deadly Life starts posting on Instagram, so I'll probably update this depending on how the heck this story ends

731 days.

Two years ago I created a penguin on a CPPS and called it Silverpetals, and life genuinely wasn't the same after that. I made her more than just an avatar, I made her my own persona, a small part of me that I cherish with my soul.

And it gave me the opportunity to belong to a community that will always be in my heart.
