Albert: Let's get going before McAllister starts bombarding me with more history.

Richard: [chuckles] Weren't you excited to hear those for your speech tomorrow?

Albert: Yeah, but I thought he'd give me a quick crash course. I didn't expect him to go into all the details about my ancestors. Can you imagine how much information that is?

Richard: I can, sir.

Albert: Well, you're the history buff, not me. It felt like an endless punishment, reminding me of my school days.

Richard: Good thing your car is ready. We can make a quick escape from history.

Albert: You know what, Richard? One of these days, I'm gonna...

???: Albert?

Albert: Anne?

Anne: Hey!

Albert: Hey, how are you?

Anne: I'm doing well. How about you?

Albert: I'm good, um...

Anne: [laughs] Don't be so awkward, Albert.

Albert: Sorry! It's just that I didn't expect to see you here.

Anne: Well, the feeling is mutual. So, what brings you here?

Albert: Research, actually. I'm preparing for my speech tomorrow.

Anne: You're the guest speaker for tomorrow's assembly? I thought Charlotte was responsible for the college's speeches.

Albert: She was, but with her upcoming wedding and all, I've taken over those duties. Now is your turn, why are you here?

Anne: Actually, I'm teaching a class on early childhood development. It's been a wonderful experience so far.

Albert: That's fantastic, Anne! I know teaching has always been a passion of yours and you have a natural talent for it. The future generations are fortunate to have you as their teacher.

Anne: Thank you, it means a lot to hear that from you. Say, are you free right now? How about we grab a cup of coffee and catch up?

Albert: That sounds like a great idea! You stay here Richard.

Richards: But sir...

Albert: It’s an order.

Richard: ...Yes, sir.

Albert: So, where do you want to go?

Anne: There's this cute coffee shop down the street that sells the best coffee in town.

Albert: Sounds great to me, let’s go.

Richard: [sigh] Your grandson might find himself in some trouble soon sir.

Prime Minister Foster: Your Majesty. Your Highness. Thank you for coming today. 

Ana: It is no problem, Prime Minister. 

Richard: This is ridiculous. Why am I here? 

Prime Minister Foster: Within the past 48 hours, ninety-eight percent of Parliament has come to me to confirm that they do not want Your Majesty on the throne any longer.

Richard: That’s not all of Parliament. 

Prime Minister Foster: It’s 294 members of Parliament. Only 6 have not responded to me yet. I expect at least four of them to give me their votes in support of abdication within the next few hours. 

Ana: What about the last two? 

Prime Minister Foster: I am not sure about it, but I believe that you know who they might be, Your Highness. But, every representative and senator so far has made one thing crystal clear to me, Your Majesty. Either you go by your own accord, or Parliament will make you leave. 

Richard: And where does Anastasia fit into all of this? 

Prime Minister Foster: Once you abdicate, Anastasia will ascend to the throne as Queen. Your grandson will become Crown Prince and your son-in-law will become the Prince Consort. 

Richard: I am not abdicating. 

Prime Minister Foster: You do not have a choice in that matter anymore, Your Majesty. Either you can go on your own terms, or the terms that we set for you. Cidite has determined your fate either way.

SimDonian Parliament Members Arrive to the Reception of Crown Princess Diana and Gerhard

We’re excited to see the Lords and Ladies of Parliaments with their families and all dressed up! It’s not a common sighting, so let’s cherish it while we can!

The Prime Minister and her son are looking stunning and excited to be here. PM Parnell is wearing a long sleeved dark blue gown while Anthony Parnell wears a black tuxedo.

Lady Khadijah Banks went all out in blue, as well! She is glowing in a dark blue sleeveless gown while on the arm of her husband, Grand Count Thomas. Behing them is their beautiful daughter, Chantell Banks in a green halter gown.

Following the blue theme is Lady Lauren in a blue gown with sheer sleeves while Lord Richard wears a black tuxedo, but stands out with bright white shoes! Unfortunately neither came with their suspected significant others.

Lord Donovan arrives with his wife Grand Countess Esther. He wears a military uniform while his wife wears a yellow gown with embellishments. Their daughter, Countess Olivia is wearing a red lace gown and she looks great!

Lady Tara does it again a brown fitted off shoulder gown. Her husband Grand Count Carter wear a blue tuxedo while their adorable twins formalwear, as well. This family couldn’t get more lovely!

Councilwoman Holden: What is disgrace if not the Crown Prince being semi responsible for the death of his own fiancée?

Councilwoman Glenn: Disgrace to one Elodan can mean something very different to another. Intentional murder is not the same as not answering your cell phone.

Councilman Maddox: But not answering your phone 22 times? That seems very intentional. Then fleeing with no explanation and no contact? That seems guilty to me.

Edward: Ah, there she is! Georgina come take a seat.  

Georgina: Am I late? It seems you've started already.

Richard: No not at all, Your Royal Highness, everyone is just eager to make a decision. It is a heated topic as I'm sure you are aware.

Georgina: Yes, of course. I've reviewed the documents and the polls.

Edward: And? What are your thoughts?

Georgina: I know it’s not entirely up to me and there are many opinions but this is a matter of Eloda, not myself or even my family. My brother abandoned Eloda to bear 4 years of uncertainty. Obviously, he shows no consideration for Eloda's future and to me that is what the Founding Authors meant by disgrace. 

Richard: Very well put, Ma'am.

Councilwoman Glenn: She has a point. This is not a matter of the Prince's personal affairs. This is about his ability to withstand the weight of his duty under public scrutiny.

Councilman Maddox: Exactly, if he cannot stick around to make right of his own name, then he will crumble under the weight of the crown.

Richard: In that case, as Lead Councilors, I think we are ready to make a decision.

Richard: Constitution be damned. I am not abdicating. Not now, not ever. 

Prime Minister Foster: After the Opening of Parliament, more than 79% of Parliament is in favor of it. More people are coming up to me every day to add their names. 

Richard: You can make it entirely clear that I am not abdicating, nor do I plan to.

Prime Minister Foster: The Representatives and Senators are the people’s voices. The voices of them are the voices of our people. And our people want you off the throne and your daughter on.
