I love how I haven't properly written a bio for Envy, but I instantly made a bio for Sloth, after I finished drawing her lol

Anyway this is Fanya! (Bio below)

Name: Fanya

Gender: Female

Pronouns: She/Her

Species: Luna Moth

Sin: Sloth

Fanya is cursed with the sin of sloth, which means she lacks physical effort. She also struggles to stay awake and no matter how much sleep she takes, she'll always feel tired.

Before she was cursed, she used to have a sheep friend named Amzi. Until the Bishops came along and killed all the lambs. Fanya was heart broken and was grieving for so long, she believes this world is too cruel and full of evil. And so, after she was over taken by sloth, she goes into deep slumbers and creates her own fantasy in her dreams. But she isn't alone. After she becomes the sin of Sloth, a strange creature appeared. It's body is cloud shape with spider-like legs and multiple eyes. It guilds Fanya around; making her walk without using her legs, moves her arms like a puppet. The creature can shape shift to anything it wants. From pretending to be fur, under Fanya's dress, to a giant monstrous sheep. Fanya believed this creature is "Amzi". It's unsure if the monster is actually Amzi or if Fanya is struggling to cope that her actual friend is gone. When Fanya is asleep, "Amzi" protects Fanya with from other monsters and dissenters. It uses their "wool" to hide Fanya, so she can feel safe and secure.

Anyone is welcome in Fanya's cult if they're traumatised, betrayed or wanting to escape real world problems. Fanya's perspective, she doesn't believe she's creating a cult. Instead, she believes she's "helping" the followers by putting them to asleep and allow them to dream whatever you want. Wish to have a peaceful life? you can dream about that. Grieving about your dead loved ones and cannot live without them? You can dream them back to life. It's like they never died. Want to become a powerful God and make everyone bow down to you while you eat a feast meal? Guess what, you can dream about that. As long you believe in the faith of Fanya.

While the followers are asleep, their actual bodies are sleep walking. Collecting food and materials. "Amzi" keeps an eye on the sleep walkers, so they don't wander off or get eaten. The followers can be asleep until they died of old age.

Fanya's relationships with her followers:

Fanya thinks she understands the followers pain and what they went through.

She can enter her follower's dreams, out of curiosity and disguises herself as a "background character" or an object, so she won't disturb their dreams.

She doesn't talk to her followers very often, but she might talk to them in their dreams, if one of them are her favourite followers or if a certain follower intrigues her.

If she sense one of her elder followers, who are about to past away, she'll talk to them one last time.

Other notes:

"Amzi" eats Fanya and other followers dreams to gain energy.

When Fanya is asleep, "Amzi" will control Fanya. It'll use their spider-like legs to walk Fanya around.

During sermons and meetings, if Fanya is asleep, "Amzi" takes over Fanya's body; moving the limbs like a puppet on string and even try to sound like her. But it comes off as uncanny. Making some people uncomfortable.

Fanya's spine was over taken by the curse. Making it difficult and painful to walk or move around too much.

Fanya isn't a strong fighter in the real world, but once you enter her dream domain, she can manipulate her surroundings.

"Amzi" is also nicknamed as "The Shepard", by other people because he guards the sleep walkers like sheep ( Amzi used to be a Shepard, before he died).

Fanya mainly dreams about Amzi and they different adventures together.

Amzi has been dead for such a long time, Fanya is slowly forgetting his face (which is her biggest fear).

Fanya likes the ranch animals. Her favourite are the Yakish. They remind her of the sheep kind.

Thoughts on the Seven Sins

I had fun with this one and like what I ended up with.

—Design notes—

Canon: I think she's supposed to be a sheep? But all I could think of was alpaca, because of that long neck. So I based her off alpacas, llamas, and camels. Since those are all related "camelids." More on camelids later.

I wanted to emphasize a droopy look, to make her feel more sleepy. It happens to fit well with the melted look of candles too. That was a happy coincidence. So she's got a lot of bottom-heavy elements to her design.

I don't know why there is a candle on her head, but it's there in canon and I don't see a reason to get rid of it. But I did turn it into a horn in her full form.

I decided it would simplify things if she just kept most of her extra eyes closed most of the time. Sometimes she opens her third eye. But the rest usually open only in her full form.

Llama vs alpaca: I know a lot of people don't know the difference, so I'll give a quick explanation. Alpacas are smaller, and usually bred for wool. Llamas are larger, and are used as pack animals and sometimes as livestock guardians. Camels are even larger, and for transport in desert climates.

Camels(not llamas or alpacas) are weird and have very carnivorous looking teeth, despite being herbivores. They're used for defense against predators, and competing for mates. So I gave Bel camel teeth.

Ungulates: So the word ungulate literally means "hooved." And is used as an animal classification. Most ungulates are digitigrade, meaning they walk on their toes. Clear examples are horses, deer, cows, etc. But it gets weird when it turns out that dolphins, despite having no hooves, and are considered ungulates because they evolved from them. Personally, I think it would make more sense to remove that classification from them because they evolved out of it. Anyway, camelids are also ungulates, but they have leathery foot pads and their hooves are more like nails. And I can't get a clear answer to if they're plantigrade or digitigrade. I've seen them described as both in the same sentence, so I'm confused.

Her glamor form is more llama/alpaca, while her full form is more camel.

The Sloth Ring specializes in medicine, which I guess makes enough sense considering the mental effect of drugs. So I'll leave that be.

—Theology—

Belphegor or Baal Peor, "Lord of the Gap": associated with lazy corruption, can inspire brilliant inventions that make tasks easier. Which is like the lazy way out.

Cardinal Sins: the list initially had 8 sins. But the Latin designations "Tristitia" and "Acedia" were combined into Sloth; "Vanagloria" and "Superbia" were combined into Pride; and Envy was added.

Sloth: Today, it's understood as a disinclination to exertion. But originally, Christian theology referred to it as a lack of care in performing spiritual duties. The Latin "acedia" means "without care".

Negligence- laziness, inaction, willful ignorance, avoidance of responsibility, sloppiness Apathy- indifferent, passive, bored, sluggish Melancholy- dejection, despondency, despair, self depreciation/self victimization/self-pity Cowardice- lack of confidence, hesitation, fear

Opposite Virtue: Diligence responsibility, diligence, perseverance, steadfastness
