“ Again.” Voice full of frustration, Regulus loved his wrist to accompany his word and start to sing another time.
It was probably the seventh time already that he tried to record the same song and it slowly started to turn him mad. Since he had sung it to the main character of the story, he realized that he couldn't express his emotions as much as he wanted to.
At first it was enough, the first idea was good and even James, the biggest romantic person Regulus knew, said it was showing all the love the man was having for his girlfriend.
And it's not like he has lost these feelings, definitely not, but it was so much more emotional when he sang directly to Lily, why couldn't he keep this sales passion when she was away?
When he stopped again, frustrated, he saw the door opening slowly and beautiful red hair floating in the room as Lily entered.
“ What's happening, you look angry?” Sighing softly, he moved from the recording room to go wrap his arms around her and hide his face in her hair.
“ I can't sing it perfectly when you're not around…” A chuckle answered him and a deliciously soft hand cupped his cheek.
“ Good thing I'm here in this case, right?” Regulus melted in her touch before nodding.
“ Yeah, good thing you're here.”
If the next try was perfect and made the other people in the room cry it was only thanks to the amazing girl illuminating his world every day.
