Mermaids mean a lot to me, what a joy to find this set! Theyre from the Book of Hours, France, Paris, ca. 1460, MS M.282 fol. 130v. (If im not mistaken). How pretty they look around the flowers!

NEW OCS DROPPED and yeah ofc they're parent ocs, who do you think I am?

Murray is a Moray Eel, she is the bio mother of both Floyd and Jade, and has been somewhat raising them on her own in their early life (from birth to 5 years). Sirena is a deep-sea Viperfish who works as a bouncer at a nightclub, the same club which both her and Murray met and immediately got along. Sirena soon enough became the twins second parent after falling for Murray and also took on the role of a proper parent after realizing Murray kinda sucks at her job and that will drive Sirena insane if she doesn't step in and help her. Okay that's all for now, as you can see in the drawing and the notes, these designs and time set is taking place when Floyd and Jade are still very much young, so whenever you see these two drawn together expect the twins to still be very tiny very small little creatures.
