Weekly siren poll! And the first poll of 2026!

What a week it has been yall. Definitely the longest week of my life 😭. We're starting off the first poll pretty strongly with a few pretty iconic sirens to choose from. Never thought I'd have to pit Pintsch Bamag against H.O.R but here we are!

Today's siren of the day is the SIRO-DRONE by H.O.R!

Good morning! Today's siren is the one that started the siren of the day series and won the first poll! The infamous Sirodrone! This very particular siren was built by H.O.R (Harry O. Ricci Siren & Signal inc) in 1942! The siro drone was the first sirens built and sold by the company and turned out to be a very successful model line. As expected they were the competition to Federal Signal's Fedelcode series. The sirens are known to be very resistent so they're still active today despite the fact line was discontinued in the 60s. However the siro drone is known for the "Hula HOR" siren. It's lose housing seemed to appear to cause the siren to spin. Unfortunately this icon was removed in 2023.
