It was rather obvious from the trail for the ninth series of the Revived Series that

Sissy was the Sergeant. It also didn’t help that BTV put out a box set of the Sergeant’s debut episodes around the same time.

Sissy certainly came across as sincere in her introduction, but it was all a false front, giving the Inspector the wrong impression of her.

Too bad she turned out to be as evil as her previous incarnations.

The programme had to remind viewers that Sissy was still the Sergeant,

and having her atomize fan-favourite Godfrey was just the trick.

The Sergeant/Sissy usually is quite full of himself/herself.

But, then, he/she has reason to be!

It’s widely assumed that Sissy was responsible for giving Geneva the Inspector’s number,

which ultimately is why the Inspector defeated the Overwhelming Emotion’s attempt to wipe him from history.

Sissy’s plans to convert human corpses into Circuit Chaps

would have made for a very unhealthy mob of zombies attacking the world.

Sissy created artificial zombies in ‘Light Air’ and ‘Life in Hell’,

by creating Circuit Chaps from deceased bodies.

If Sissy was the one who gave Geneva the Inspector’s phone number,

does that mean she actually defeated the Overwhelming Emotion’s plot to remove the Inspector from history?
