event ! : harvest festival

welcome to yet another event + task combo ! on this small island there’s an annual tradition for a harvest festival once fall comes around. this year the merchant’s house has opened it’s door to host this festival ! it’s up to the group fixing up the hotel to get a few more things done in time for the celebration. please click on the links below to get to know more about the tasks involved & the harvest festival itself !

as a reward for their hard work , the beach will be there’s from night fall to the morning rise. the group will be given enough snacks , games , drinks , and of course supplies for a bonfire as a little treat. don’t get too crazy though , the town has ears and love to be nosey.

this event will last a total of four weeks ( sept 26 - oct 24th )

from september 26th to october 9th the group will be preparing for the harvest festival. during these two weeks you are tasked to have a thread started that is either short or long , text or paragraphs , and on discord ( a separate server/gc for the muns & posted after completion ) or on tumblr on the topic of your task and with your partner ! all you need to do is start this thread , please don’t feel pressured to complete it in this time period ! also , feel free to continue it after the time period is up ! click here to see the tasks for the harvest festival preparations

from october 10th to october 24th the group will be hosting the harvest festival at the merchant’s house. the festival is a mid afternoon to late evening festival and by night fall everyone goes home. except the group will be heading to the beach for a bonfire celebration as a job well done ! during this time feel free to post starters ( open or closed ) for the festival and/or bonfire. i highkey encourage a lot of drama so please... let’s get messy.  click here to read more about what you can see at the harvest festival

event ! : family dinner

it’s been decided ! the group of friends that have taken over the merchant’s house are working together to throw a family dinner for themselves. the islanders are overly excited to see how it is to hash out , considering this will be on of the many tests to see if they can actually work together. blue myth will be closed down for a night for this matter.

this event will start thursday sept 1st and will last through monday september 5th. during this time period everyone can post open and closed starters for the event and are free to do replies after the event ‘ends’ , but will no longer be able to post new starters. please tag starters for this event with #skopelosfamilydinner

surprise tasks ! below are a list of tasks given to the group to prepare for the dinner party. please take the time to work with the paired mun to see what your muses will end up doing for their task. you can do a thread or just simply plot it out before or during the event ! 

theme : ted & elise

ted and elise. please work together to decide on a theme for this dinner party. communicate what the theme is to the rest of your friends so that they can base their tasks around it. if possible, please create a collage or pinterest board for visual purposes

decorations : susie & val

susie and val. go out in the town and find some decor that’ll match the theme. also set up the decorations in blue myth before the party starts. make sure to grab the keys from the front desk

appetizer, main course, and dessert : raj & grant

arden and grant. work together to create the appetizer, main course, and dessert that will be in the menu for the family dinner. this also includes creating a grocery list and stopping by the store as blue myth will not be providing ingredients

drinks : william 

clementine and william. drinks are on you. whether it’s one drink or several to choose from , you both are in charge the drinks menu. make sure you’re to grab any other ingredients that you might need outside of alcohol.

playlist : oliver & sawyer

oliver and sawyer. it’s your job to set the mood. according to the theme , please create a playlist ( spotify or just a list of songs ) for it to be played in the background on blue myth’s speakers while the lot enjoy dinner.

introducing our first ( ish ) task ! with our new rule of second characters i’d like for us to brainstorm some wanted connections so that everyone has options and inspiration when / if creating their second character ! 

for this task please come up with at least one wanted connection for your muse that ties into their background. use the format under the read more and submit the connection(s) here once complete !
