I made a Silk/Sky OC! Her name is Hymn (Based after Hum from Hummingbird moth) and she really likes bugs! Dragons tend to be freaked out by her bug pinning (especially Silkwings,) but it's all in good love.

Some info below.

This is my AU where Silkwings are fluffy with long antennae that can detect even the smallest vibrations, and have incredible smelling and sight. Though they have terrible night vision, being herbivores and historically nectarivores. While Skywings are feathered with incredibly long wings and tail feathers, they have incredible senses, most known for their sight. And have moderate night vision. Skywings are omnivores with primarily meat diets. Together, Hymn has very good senses, she doesn't have good night vision whatsoever, but her other senses make up for that. She would make an incredible hunter (if she wasn't so obsessed with hunting bugs.) She can't really digest meat though, and can only really eat plants and nectar. (Mostly nectar, she likes pretending that she's a bug.)

In my AU dragons are also a LOT smaller. I absolutely hate the teeny tiny scavengers and the big kaiju-dragons in the books, and just in general the recourse management would be terrible if they were that big, so I decreased their size by a lot. (like dragon-rider size)
