to those with delayed sleep-phase syndrome (DSPS / DSPD), do you experience nausea when you’re in times that your body wants to be asleep and, because of convention or necessity, you have to be awake? 

for as long as i can remember, waking up before noon has made me extremely nauseated and can even result in mild vomiting that doesn’t abate for at least an hour or so after waking up. the further away i wake up before noon, the worse it is, no matter how much sleep i get. 

i always attributed it to GI issues, like my acid reflux, but i never knew what to make of its time-relatedness. it recently occurred to me it might be related to my delayed sleep-phase, but nothing in the literature talks about it. 

on the other hand, three separate blogs about DSPS mention nausea as part of their symptoms when they don’t get their preferred times to rest.
