If Pikachu first appeared in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Pikachu has PP. He can only use his specials a certain number of times before they become unusable. The only way he can recover PP is by pressing Shield + Special to summon an Elixir that flies towards him from the foreground, which has a recovery period when used. He also gets random critical hits.
