Does starscream really want to be a parent or is he just clinging to fracture as a coping mechanism?
I don’t think Starscream is sure about that himself. He lets Smokescreen do all the work like feeding, playing, cleaning... while his only contribution is to emotionally manipulate the child. He wants to mold him in some kind of extension of himself that is supposed to bring misery to the Autobots and spite Megatron. Well, that’s the current plan. Originally Fracture was supposed to be this great asset for the Decepticon cause. A super warrior with Megatron’s genes. Starscream hoped Megatron would cherish him again if he would grant him such a gift. But everything ended up differently...
