A delicious and easy pork and sauerkraut recipe that combines the savory flavors of pork with the tanginess of sauerkraut. Perfect for a comforting and hearty meal.
Ingredients: 2 lbs pork shoulder, cubed. 1 can 32 oz sauerkraut, drained and rinsed. 1 onion, thinly sliced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp caraway seeds. 1 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 1/2 cup chicken broth. 2 tbsp olive oil.
Instructions: Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-high heat. Put in the pork cubes and brown them all over. Put in the minced garlic and sliced onions. Saut until the onions become clear. Season the pork with salt, black pepper, and caraway seeds. Put the pork mixture in a slow cooker. Put sauerkraut that has been drained and rinsed on top of the pork. Put chicken broth on top of the sauerkraut. Turn the heat down to low and cover the slow cooker. Cook for 6 to 8 hours, or until the pork is soft. Enjoy while hot!
