I keep coming back to your vampire AU, I would love to read more of it one day! Or even just to hear some of the extra lore tbh

Hello Anon, sorry I took a little bit to answer this but this past two weeks have been insanely busy. But I've been so excited waiting to get a chance to answer this.

Here's some lore for the Shalvis Vampire AU. Here's how vampires were created: Basically, earth went through a period of devastating wars + bad environmental impact. Both Galea + Klaus were part of a scientific group that was researching multiple ways to find solutions/paths to progress that would benefit the future of humanity. Galea was working on artificial intelligence (actual intelligent computers) which was the Trinity. This version of Klaus was actually more of a chemist/biologist than physics guy so he was obsessed with finding a way to make humans stronger/more able to deal with possible nuclear fallout + rampant disease. They had other colleagues that were messing around with certain things too. One was researching clones (this will be important later) and another was researching magic. Klaus thought the magic obsessed researcher wasn't a real researcher/scientist and told that guy as much. Those two did not get along.

Anyway, Klaus's whole human super-serum research hits a bottleneck, but he's arrogant enough to think that he's got it right. Animal trials were slow going, but there's rumors of pulling funding from all of their research. Klaus decides screw it, he'll test his formula on himself and prove that his research was worth everything. Galea runs in, but is just a tad too late to stop him from testing it on himself.

Klaus pretty much blacked out and woke up to the lab in shambles, many of his colleagues either dead or missing, and both him and Galea covered in blood. Congrats Klaus you turned yourself and Galea into the world's first vampires!

Klaus isn't exactly upset at being a vampire because technically he did achieve his goal. However, he's super pissed that he doesn't understand how it turned out like this. This was not how his experiment was supposed to go (and the blood lust was annoying tbh). As for Galea, she's so pissed at him, and she wants it fixed immediately.

So, the two of them are forced to work together to start puzzling out what happened. They both blacked out for multiple days but luckily the cameras in their lab compound place still worked. Things they figure out: (1) after Klaus injected himself, he injected Galea with the formula too for reasons unknown cause he doesn't remember that part, (2) their magic obsessed coworker messed with/cursed/did something to Klaus's formula which probably played a part in how everything turned out, (3) Galea's pretty sure magic guy did it cause Klaus was annoying and mean, (4) they have no clue what he did which is not helpful for figuring out how to undo everything, (5) magic guy is dead, (6) their clone obsessed coworker is also dead, (7) she was secretly making clones of people including them, (8) they turned their own clones into vampires and uh who knows where they went, (9) they also turned Galea's Trinity aka Ontos, Pneuma, and Logos into vampires somehow, (10) Galea is very very mad and Klaus is just confused because how does one turn essentially super computers in synthetic bodies into vampires.

So yup. That's why Alvis and his siblings are vampires. And Meyneth and Zanza are clones of Galea and Klaus who went off and started turning people + creating vampire society. A couple of the missing lab staff people were also some of the early vampires who ran off and started causing problems.

The AU takes place many many years after the og incident. According to vampire society, Galea + Klaus are the elusive Vampire Progenitors who are pretty much never seen. Then there is Vampire Princess Meyneth or Lady Meyneth who leads her own faction, and also Vampire Prince Zanza or Lord Zanza who leads his own faction. The two of them generally don't agree.

Klaus + Galea are hardly seen/hardly interact with vampire society because they spend all their time trying to figure out how to undo what happened + find a cure. They're also pretty time blind ngl.

Thinking about the sort of messed up “dates” Seraph and N would go on. Because that’s basically what my latest chapter was lol. And because that’s the sort of bonding Seraph needs to get to the emotionally vulnerable Noah center lol

I love how you had Seraph and N have a "date" where they were just standing and observing a corpse. Plus talking about the value of life.

Yeah, Seraph does need to reach the emotionally vulnerable Noah center lol. I think it'll take quite a few chats about N's ability to make choices and about M and what's up with that. I want Seraph to start off the "you can still walk forward" speech that Noah and Mio eventually get through N's head.

I wish I had ideas about dates for them but so far most of mine are just "and they try to kill each other." Mine fight a lot (but def some chatting too because I just know that as soon as Seraph learns about N trying to resurrect M and turn her into a Mobius, he's gonna be like "are you sure you know what you're doing?")

Shorter Fics

Resolution by Assbele. This one is during the remaking the world part of the game. I enjoy rereading this one.

Belief by Assbele. It's Alvis' pov and he just rambles in his thoughts about Shulk.

Wet Rats and Large Handcuffs by Taliax. This one focuses more on Reyn interacting with Alvis but it very fun and enjoyable. Reyn's trying to deal with this guy that very clearly likes his best friend.

Deform to Form A Star by KentuckyTheFried. Alvis shows up in Shulk's dream post game and they have an overdue conversation. A little bit of hurt/comfort cause Alvis has some fears.

Momentary Solace by moonquartz. I consider this canon. It's a conversation between Shulk and Alvis in Alcamoth right after prison island.

A Brief Walk in the Cosmos by Zanthe. This one is just fluffy post game stuff where Alvis shows Shulk parts of the new world.

A Walk In The Sun by Dragon_Falls. During the game. Shulk and Alvis take a walk around Eryth Sea.

Goodnight by Dragon_Falls. Shulk talking to the Monado and not knowing Alvis can hear him.

Soothsayers by notyourparadigm. Another thing I take as canon. This is a conversation between Shulk and Alvis in Ose Tower. Longer fics:

Falling by Dragon_Falls. This is something I consider to be one of the quintessential Shalvis fics. It was the first one I read.

We Will Meet Again by Assbele. Basically check out Assbele's fics.

Recompilation Attempt № 17 by minorthirds. This one is set during future connected and it has my heart. It's sooo good I cannot recommend reading it enough. The resolution gets me every time.

Good Luck, Shulk and the sequel by sneep. It's an alternate universe and an absolutely fantastic one. Alvis plays favorites and it's so obvious. Shulk has no clue what's going on.

Trinity: Awaken. Reconcile. Resurge. by Dragon_Falls. This one isn't finished yet. It's a crossover with XC2 and it destroyed me. I'm very invested in the outcome.

Honorary Mentions:

Seventh Day by SwoodMaxProductions. Not technically Shalvis but it can totally be read that way. It's short and fluffy.

Solve for X by Silver33650. This beast of a fic is an alternate universe that mixes XC 1, 2, and 3 characters into a sort of pre-game world. Klaus hasn't done the experiment yet. There's a huge mystery going on, it's super well-written, and while it's not technically Shalvis, a decent portion focuses on Alvis and Shulk's interactions. It deserves more love.

So, yup. I might have missed a few but I think I got most.

Hello, im sorry if this question seems weird like very weird hence im asking anonymously. I just have to know if your tanjiro and zenitsu fics are written with tanzen or zentan? like... dom tanjiro or dom zenitsu? sorry if this is weird, u dont have to answer. Thank you anyway 🙏

I'm sorry but this question brings up some funny memories, anon. You see two of my fellow writer friends had to explain to me that there was a difference between tanzen and zentan. They spent over an hour and I still didn't really fully get it. Anyway, to answer your question to the best of my ability ... I think it depends on the fic?? I feel like some of my fics lean one way or another simply depending on the circumstance of the story and honestly chance. Even then it's hard for me to figure out which of my fics might fall into which. I don't really write these two characters and think about who is the dominant one. I think several of my fics might even classify as both? A Little To The Left has moments where Zenitsu is being the super flirty one and moments where Tanjirō is being pretty smooth. So yeah. That being said I like saying and using the term tanzen because it simply sounds better to me and flows off the tongue easier.
